Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, especially as an incoming medical student with a flexible study schedule. While my classes are structured, I have built-in breaks throughout the day that allow me to step away, reset, and give pets the attention they need. Studying also provides flexibility, since I can organize my time around walks, feeding schedules, play sessions, and check-ins. I value balance and know how important movement and fresh air are, so taking a dog out for a walk or spending time engaging with them fits seamlessly into my day. When I’m studying, pets stay in a safe, calm environment where they can relax comfortably nearby. Being in a rigorous academic program has strengthened my time management skills, responsibility, and attentiveness — qualities that directly translate into providing reliable, consistent, and safe care for every dog I look after.

My 150 pound, 2 year old mastiff doesn’t just warm up to anybody, but she immediately took to Jake. His gentle and caring manner made Yarah feel safe and comfortable, which is exactly what I was looking for in a pet sitter. I also have two cats Elwyn and Argo, who require a specific feeding routine due to their food sensitivities which called for a close attention to detail. Jake was able to handle their care wonderfully and I cannot recommend Jake more!
Jacob did an excellent job caring for my sweet Louie. Louie can be a naughty dog and likes to run away. Jacob kept a close eye on Louie and went above and beyond by taking him on long walks, which I know he appreciated! I also have a naughty kitty, Rocky who is old and bites. Jacob was extra gentle with Rocky and was able to give him all his medication. Thank you Jacob!
Jake has petsat for both my aging dog, Max, and our puppy, Wren. As a soon-to-be medical student, you can tell Jake's care for every living being, and his experience with pets makes him a great choice for your dog! He is extremely communicative and reliable, we've never had to wait for Jake and always know if he has any questions. Jake will be enthusiastic with your pet and also responsive to any requests you may have. He is my go-to for pet care and I know you can rest assured that your pup will be in good hands!
Jake is the best! I cannot recommend him enough. He has watched my dog multiple times, and every time I have felt that my pup was in the best hands. Jake is extremely responsible and communicative, and has my complete trust when it comes to my dog. He is very attentive, and keeps me updated on anything I need to know while he is with my dog. It's also a major bonus that my dog absolutely loves him! (and my dog can be quite the jerk) I know I can rely on Jake whenever I need someone compassionate, loving, and experienced to take care of my Murphy.
