Winnie’s Way was born out of love, loss, and everything in between. When I brought home my pup Winnie, she was ten months old — full of spunk, laughter, and a level of mischief that could brighten even the darkest day. Just a month later, she was unexpectedly diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy, and my world changed overnight. Caring for her meant learning more than I ever imagined — from medication schedules to monitoring and building routines, to understanding what real patience, trust, and intentional care look like. Every day required adaptability, focus, and heart. Even in the toughest moments, Winnie had a way of being oh so sassy, while wagging her tail like she was saying, “I've got this, Dad. I can fight through this!" Though Winnie is no longer here physically, I know she’s watching over me, Goose (her brother and my current sidekick), and every pet I care for. Goose is calm, playful, and loving — happy to play, snuggle, or comfort a new friend as needed. Together, we offer a safe, joyful, and intentional environment where every tail feels valued, loved, and understood.
