I currently have a very flexible schedule over the summer and am available for dog sitting, pet care, and house sitting throughout the week and weekends. I strive to be as flexible, reliable, and accommodating as possible to meet the needs of both pets and their owners.

The safety, comfort, and well-being of every animal in my care is always my top priority. I have experience interpreting canine body language and understanding breed-specific needs, including the specialized care required for brachycephalic breeds and barrel-chested breeds. I am attentive to each pet’s individual temperament, routines, and stress signals to help create a safe and positive environment. I am comfortable administering medications, handling accidents or cleanups, and adapting to the unique needs of each pet. In addition to caring for dogs and cats, I have experience with other animals as well and am always willing to learn about the proper care and handling of different species. My goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care while giving pet owners peace of mind that their animals are in safe and capable hands.

A typical day
I love to cuddle, walk, and play with all the animals I've ever watched, no matter how old or young they might've been. Each pup, cat, and pet has received high quality affection.

Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs since I helped my mom with her dog boarding business in 2020 and since then have taken care of a multitude of both young and old dogs. I will NOT take last minute requests without a meet & greet. I'm used to picking up after those without potty training or those with stomach issues and sympathizing over those sweet pups.

Horrible experience. Contracted for housesitting for two and a 1/2 days with overnight stays. Jacob left my dog alone for 13 hours overnight. And was otherwise with him 5 hours in 2 visits the first 24 hours. And 18 hours in two visits of the remaining 29 hours of our contract. He lied about the dog accidents resulting from the 13 hours my dog was alone. 9:45 pm to 11:30 am. Again, I would not trust Jacob to be with my dog again. He is dishonest and not trustworthy.
Jacob did a good job on short notice on a holiday.
We are so incredibly grateful for Jacob! He watched our pups for a couple of days and treated them like his own. It is always stressful leaving your pets, but Jacob provided outstanding care and much-needed peace of mind. He sent regular updates and photos everyday. We came home to happy, relaxed, and well-cared for pups. We absolutely will be booking Jacob again!
