Let me help you make sure that your furry friends aren’t lonely while you’re away! I am trustworthy and communicative and will treat your companions like my own. I enjoy all breeds and backgrounds. I’m very patient and calm. I can hand feed and administer medications. I have had rescue dogs of my own and am compassionate and caring for dogs from abusive or neglected backgrounds. I’m available for hourly one-on-one dog sitting services in your home or ours. I’ve been an animal companion since childhood and grew up with pets including mice, rabbits, and dogs. I’m familiar with positive reinforcement training so I can help reinforce any lessons you are working on with your dog. I currently work from home developing my craft hot sauce business. I have a flexible schedule, reliable vehicle and cell phone for good communication via text, app messaging, or phone calls. I will eagerly learn what your beloved dog requires as they get to know me. I love to walk with dogs and just relax and snuggle if that is what they need. Our 70 pound Golden Retriever Apollo, who I care for full time, loves getting lots of exercise and snuggles with the best of them. I prefer to do drop-in visits in clients homes for walks or companion time but will occasionally board or facilitate daycare for a dog at our home. It is necessary to do a temperament test to make sure they will feel comfortable in our home and with our dog. I will gather as much information as you are willing to share about how comfortable your pets are with new people. I love to walk and play with dogs, or just relax and snuggle if that is what they need. I prefer to do drop-in visits in clients homes for walks or companion time.

Planning
I work mostly from home as well so pups are rarely home alone. I am free most days but often more available between the hours of 9 AM and 4 PM. Occasional overnight stays where your pet is most comfortable, including your home, is also an option.

Meet and greets are a requirement prior to booking to ensure the best care. Caring for your dog in our home will be individually considered after a proper meet and great at our home with our dog. I have experience with special needs and socially anxious dogs and enjoy the work of building trust. I find that most dogs benefit from a routine to create predictability and communication between myself and them.

I love walks, especially with furry friends. Exploring new neighborhoods with new smells are my favorite. I take my dog to an off leash dog park every morning. That could be an option if you and your dog are comfortable and we have an established relationship. I will do my best to never put your dog in an uncomfortable situation.
