I work just a few blocks from home, which allows me to go home on breaks to care for my animals. My work schedule is very flexible, and I can often get away to tend to animals’ needs at the drop of a hat.

Safety, trust & environment
Working at a dog grooming salon taught me a lot about canine health and safety. I know my way around the various types of leads and harnesses. I make sure fences are closed, and dogs are leashed before they can even get a peek of outside. Safety is also emphasized in animal massage school.
Information Jacob L. would like to know about your pet
I’d like to know a dog’s age, temperament, and specific triggers (e.g. food aggressive, etc), if any. It’s important to know any allergies, too. Favorite treats and toys are great info, as well. Does your dog have places in the neighborhood they particularly enjoy to visit while waking, or perhaps there are areas to avoid? How often does your pet eat? For overnights: where does your pet like to sleep? How much time between bedtime potty and morning potty is typical?
A typical day
Seattle has some great neighborhood parks and off-leash dog parks. I love trotting with my pack. When we aren’t walking, we’re playing with toys—whether it’s fetch or (gentle) tug-of-war. As a former LMP and soon-to-be SAMP, massaging comes so naturally that I often don’t realize I’m doing it.

NBCAAM Board Certified in Small Animal Massage, and awaiting my state SAMP licensing exam! Certified Pet Doula I worked at a dog grooming salon for several years, which allowed me the opportunity to work professionally with cats and dogs. Many of my best friends and favorite people are dog groomers. I recently enrolled in canine acupressure school, which im thrilled to be adding to my arsenal of animal healing arts! ☯️ 🐾
Reviews

We were able to enjoy our vacation because we had confidence in Jacob and Brandon for starters after our meet and greet. The household was in good shape when we came home. It was obvious the dogs loved them. They had no problems managing our over the top happy 85 lb labradoodle. We would definitely ask for their services again.

Jacob and Brandon were amazing! Our 9 month old pup went into her first heat cycle right before our trip. They handled everything with care and expertise. I loved all the pics and videos they shared during their stay!!

Jacob and Brandon took excellent care of Balam and Domino while we were out. We would definitely rebook for our next trip!

Our dogs were cared for and loved while we were out of town. One of our dogs is pretty timid with new people but he opened up right away! Great communication and quick to respond. Would book again in the future!
