I have always grown up with pets. Currently, I have a Blue-Tick Coonhound mix(Willie) and an Australian Cattle Dog(Clay). Clay is a highly active and reactive dog, while Willie has had health problems. I’m well versed in pet behavior and analyzing their reactions to ensure a healthy and happy pet!

I’m new to the Des Moines area but I walked dogs and pet sat 8 families/pets for 5 years in Rockford, Illinois. I love animals. I am deeply concerned about safety and wellbeing of all animals which makes me an awesome candidate to watch your pets! Currently, I’m an editor and writer. I’m going to law school and I’m looking for the flexibility Rover provides.

Jacob was exceptional with my cats. He has such a calm, gentle presence. My very skittish boy warmed up to him on the first visit. He followed my care instructions perfectly and communicated clearly and consistently during each visit, which made it so easy to relax while I was away. Jacob is dependable, thoughtful, and clearly a genuine animal lover. I wouldn’t hesitate to book him again - we absolutely will.
Jacob is a phenomenal dog sitter. Every time I go on a work trip I see if he’s available!! He’s attentive, calm, and wonderful with our dogs. We have high energy dogs and he’s always willing to go the extra mile (literally sometimes) to tire our girls out.
From now on, I only trust Jacob with our Billy! He’s amazing with him, and Billy loves him so much! He is the best ever!
Jacob is lovely dog dad. He cares so much about animals and especially dogs!! The way he loves his own dogs you can tell he’d treat your furbabies as his own!
