I grew up with dogs (lab, golden retriever, pit bull) and have lots of experience raising and caring for them. I love dogs, but prefer the flexibility of sitting vs ownership. I'm excited to meet and play with your dog! Prefer medium and large dogs. Really want to watch a Doberman!

Schedule
I work from home full time. As long as your dog is clean, they're welcome on my furniture! My building is pet friendly and has a lawn area for bathroom breaks. I will take your dog for walks along the lakeshore. I have a car if you need them picked up/dropped off for longer visits.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog will never be left unsupervised, will always be leashed, and I'll respect whatever requirements you have. I'm very comfortable with big dogs (preferred, actually!). I'll send you photo updates. In my 5th floor access controlled apartment, there is no potential for your dog to get outside accidentally. I'm active, athletic, over 200lbs, and I'm not worried about losing control of your dog on-leash outside. I will be defensive of your dog and cautious around other dogs on the street, as I know how unpredictable and misbehaved some can be. I'm a stickler for details, I'm careful and thoughtful. If you're nervous about leaving your dog with a sitter, as I would be, I feel like I'm your guy! Happy to meet in person first if that helps. I'm an open book, ask me anything!
A typical day
We'll go for walks/runs on the lakeshore, play tug of war, wrestle, or just relax. Whatever vibe I get from your dog, whatever they need.
