I have multiple years of experience caring for dogs both personally and professionally. Professionally I cared for dogs in a large daycare environment in Los Angeles, CA and Portland, OR. In Los Angeles I managed the daycare caring for many temperaments and personalities and specific situations. I understand the importance of positive communication, socialization and have an excellent understanding of dog behavior and signalling. Personally, my husband and I adopted our first dog from a shelter at 1.5 years old and spent 9 years caring, socializing, working with and loving him. He recently passed away and we thought this might be a positive outlet for remembering him. Generally i'm available on weekends and in the afternoons/evenings on weekdays. I consider myself an even-keeled, positive person and many others have referred to my relationships with all types of dogs as that of a "dog whisperer". I know the care I could offer your companion would be second to only your own love for them.
