I always make sure to see if the owners have any specfic instrutions first and foremost. I will always greet the dog/cat first in calm manner, have them sniff me, say hi, get used to me. Then we get ready for a walk, on walks I'm extremely aware on my surroundings and what could happen or not happen. Water bowls are always full, food at the time the owners said. I make sure to make friends with the animals, and their safety/comfort comes first and foremost. This all will go with cats as well! I tend to be more cautious with the cats so they know i'm there to take care of them.

I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable and trusting environment for pets to thrive in. My goal is always to provide your pets with the familiar structure and routine they have at home while respecting their boundaries. I love long walks, park time with different games, training, and more upon request! Dogs and cats deserve to be mentally and physically active like we do, animals deserve as much or if not more fulfilling life as we do!

I am a grad student in education and just moved to Chicago from Detroit, and sadly my lab and kitties had to stay in Michigan due to my living situation. I've taken care of my dogs, and cats my whole life. I love all animals, and have spent time in the state of Michigan being a dog walker for a small local dog walking business. I have house sat for a few different cats along the way as well. From small-large dogs i'm comfortable around them all!

Jacob stayed with our cat for 5 days and nights and did a wonderful job with her. Jacob is a pet owner himself and loved and cared for our cat like his own. I'd highly recommend him as a caregiver for any pet!
