I do this for the love of dogs
I’ve dog sat my whole life for friends/family etc, I have my own little rescue pup called Ted who’s an amazing boy and I’m sure he’d love to have some new friends as much as I would!

Jacob was fantastic with Dunston from the moment I dropped him off, I immediately felt at ease. It really helped that Jacob has a lovely Frenchie called Ted, who Dunston bonded with straight away. I needed to book an extra night at the last minute, and Jacob was very accommodating. Communication was great throughout, with regular updates that gave me real peace of mind. I would fully recommend Jacob and will definitely be rebooking in the future!
I’ve seen firsthand how caring, responsible, and attentive Jacob is with dogs. He treats every pet as if they were his own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable at all times. Jacob is patient and reliable which makes working with him easy and stress-free. He has cared for my pets and consistently goes above and beyond, whether it’s sticking to routines, giving extra affection, or paying close attention to each dog’s individual needs. Beyond being a great sitter, Jacob is simply an awesome human being; kind, trustworthy, and genuinely passionate about animals.
Jacob is very caring for animals often being very patient with their needs. He is observant and alert with his surroundings and is a very insightful guy. Once he understands an animals needs/routine he will ensure to be methodical in carrying out his role. Once top of this he is great at communicating any questions and isn’t afraid to double check if in doubt.

Schedule
It’s a daily occurrence as I’m responsible for the care and raising of my own little pup so I have a good amount of time to dedicate to the care of other dogs!

Safety, trust & environment
As I have my own little pup who’s a frenchie I have very strict house rules when it comes to the safety of Ted. I want to ensure Ted has a safe, clean and tidy environment to play and live in, whether I’m with him or not. I carry out daily checks to make sure the floors are clean and tidy etc. This is also a non drinking, non smoking and drug free household! It’s also very quiet where I live so Ted has no issues when it comes to him getting the peace and quiet he needs. So all in all, this a dog friendly home with access to the beach and local dog parks and gardens within a 5 to 10 minute walk!
Pets
A typical day
My typical day consists of taking Ted out for his morning walk, either to his favourite place, the beach, or to local dog parks! Ted then gets his morning meal, and we chill out for the rest of the afternoon. I work remotely, so that means I have plenty of breaks to play with Ted until his hearts content! We have lots of cuddles, and it’s usually not long until he’s snoring away on the sofa! Early evening I’ll take Ted for his second walk of the day, either to local gardens, or a leisurely stroll around town. Ted absolutely loves other dogs, so this is a great opportunity for him to socialise and meet new friends! He then gets his evening meal, and you’ll find him curled up on the sofa or bed, snoring away yet again. I know that involving additional dogs into this process will be a walk in the park (pardon the pun)!
