Five-Star Home Boarding & Dog Walks
With 15 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages and temperaments, our family provides calm, confident, and loving care. We’ve welcomed timid rescue dogs, energetic young pups, and sensitive seniors into our home. Always tailoring routines to each dog’s needs. We’re used to managing special diets, medications, separation anxiety and reactive behaviours, and we love helping dogs feel comfortable and happy while their owners are away. What sets us apart One-dog household: your dog is the only guest, no pack dynamics, more attention and fewer stresses. Home-from-home: dogs live with our family, sleep in the house (if that’s their routine), and receive plenty of cuddles and company. Farm & countryside walks: safe, varied routes start from our front gate, ideal for dogs who love long walks, sniffing and gentle adventure. Clear communication: regular photo and message updates so you know exactly how your dog is doing. Flexible but selective: we prioritise dogs we know we can care for well, that means fewer bookings, better rest between stays, and returning customers who trust us. Experience with special needs: calm handling of anxious dogs, seniors, and those needing medication or structure.

Ratings and reviews
As usual, a total home from home with Jaco and family. Nala bounds into their home with glee and has a wonderful time.

Once again Jaco looked after Mabel as if she was his own, they look after dogs as if they a a part of their family. Highly recommended.

Gunner always loves his stay with Jaco and family. We are always at ease knowing he is looked after and loved so much!
This was our first time using Rover and we were delighted with the care and love given to Finn from Jaco and his family. Jaco shared frequent updates which gave us peace of mind whilst we were away. Finn very clearly enjoyed the farm and playing tug of war. We would definitely recommend Jaco and we will book with him again!

This is only the second time Nala has stayed with Jaco and family, but as soon as the car door was open she leapt out and ran into their house! Delightful and a certain indication of how she loves being there. Thank you for making a real home from home for Nala and giving us complete peace of mind.

Barney had a really great week staying with Jaco and his lovely family. We were kept updated with photos and messages which reassured us that he was happy. Their house, garden and area where he was walked was perfect for him. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Thank you for taking such good care of him.

Schedule
We work from home and structure our days around the dog in our care. That means plenty of potty breaks, mid-day exercise, and quiet company while we’re working. Weekends are focused on adventure: longer walks across the farm and lots of playtime. Walks and feeding are always kept to your dog’s routine to reduce stress and keep things familiar.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Your dog’s safety is our top priority. Our home is secure and child-friendly, with a gated garden and dog-safe outdoor space. We always follow the owner’s instructions for feeding, medication and exercise, and we only accept dogs we’ve met or that we can confidently assess in advance. We carry pet first aid basics, know emergency vets nearby, and happy owners often comment that our updates and pictures gave them real peace of mind.
A typical day
Morning: A calm wake-up, breakfast on your schedule, and a country walk to stretch legs and sniff new routes. Midday: Short play session and rest; chance for a nap in the house or garden; medication administered if needed. Regular message/photo update sent. Afternoon: A second walk or active play depending on energy, followed by chill time with the family. Evening: A gentle walk after dinner and lots of cuddles, dogs go to bed in a comfy home setting, not a kennel.
