I love all dogs like they are part of my family and treat them as such under my care. I have experience with all ages (including puppies and seniors) and many temperaments. I will meet your pup where they are at and make them as comfy as possible during their stay.

I felt very comfortable with Jaclyn taking care of my dog. He is a senior dog with medical issues, and she was attentive to his needs and quirks.

Jackie was an absolute gem to our doxie Lilah. She had all the tricks and treats on hand to make Lilah feel safe and comfortable. Her large fenced in backyard allowed Lilah to let out her zoomies! we would recommend Jackie to anyone.
Barnes always loves his vacations at Jaclyn’s. She takes wonderful care of him, and you can tell she loves taking care of our four-legged children.

Schedule
I have a long history of both owning and caring for dogs. To me, a fur baby is family and any pet entrusted to my care is treated with the same love and affection as I would with my own.

I would be honored to spoil your pup (with what you and your fur baby are comfortable with). I have experience caring for many different sizes, temperaments, personalities, limitations, and quirks that dogs come with.
A typical day
Whether your pup is active and playful or a snoozy snuggle bug I’ll give them the attention they need and deserve. I am an active person who loves taking dogs on walks, hikes, dog beaches, parks, etc. We are located in SE Portland and regularly enjoy the trails and pathways through Mt. Tabor and the surrounding areas. We have a big backyard that is completely fenced in where dogs love to play fetch, sun bathe, lay in the hammock with me, or simply run laps in excitement. I love seeing their faces light up when I open the gate to let them run and play. You can tell from my pictures that I also love a good cuddle! If they prefer the relaxed route I am happy to wrap them in a blanket and snuggle with them (or close to them) and have a nice movie/puzzle day with them snoring by my side. I have an assortment of blankets, including heated blankets during colder months, for them to curl up comfortably with. I love spoiling them with toys, treats, and love but will always check with you first before giving your pup anything new to ensure you are comfortable with it and there are no dietary restrictions that they may have.

- Let me know what quirks and features your furry friend has and I will do my best to accommodate their every need! Things to mention include: - Anxiety triggers or sensitivities (sounds of other animals, being left alone, protection of food/toys, etc.) - Reactivity triggers (children, squirrels, outside critters, other dogs, cats, etc.) - Food allergies/dietary restrictions - Sensitivities (loud noises, laundry machine rumbles, etc.) - Feeding schedule and routine - Medication amounts, times, and administration procedures - Regular supplement schedule, if applicable - Policy for social play (are you comfortable with me taking them out to parks or patios for social engagement with other dogs and people, etc.) - Senior dog needs (vision, hearing, mobility limitations, etc.) If your dog has any other quirks or features you think are important for me to be aware of ahead of time please let me know! I will do whatever I can to accommodate their needs and avoid anything that may be triggering or upsetting to them.
