Hi, I'm Jaclyn! I'm 26 years old and recently relocated from Maryland to the area. I'm excited to meet new clients and their pets while building my local Rover community. As a detail-oriented and dependable pet sitter, I believe in providing exceptional care not only for your pets but also for your home. While house sitting, I'm happy to keep your home tidy and make sure everything is just as you left it. I offer a complimentary meet-and-greet before booking so we can get to know each other, answer any questions, and review your pet's routine. My goal is to ensure both you and your pets feel comfortable and confident before committing to any services. I have experience administering medications, following detailed care instructions, and working with pets that have busy routines or special needs. I have experience working with nervous, fearful, and reactive dogs/cats, and I always prioritize building trust at their pace. I use low-stress, force-free handling techniques to create positive experiences and help pets feel safe and comfortable while you're away. I come to the clients' home, and I come over beforehand to see everything. I prefer written instructions whenever it is possible for the owner to leave them.

Jaclyn is a fabulous caregiver. She really listens to what you want for your pet and pays attention to them when they’re in her care. She’s taken care of our 3 border collies a number of times. They love her! She sends regular updates and pics, very reassuring. I come home to a clean house and very happy dogs.
Jaclyn is incredibly reliable and flexible when it comes to being a pet caregiver. She has a genuine passion for working with animals and caring for them. She is trustworthy and I have never shed a sweat when leaving my fur babies in her hands. She is experienced and extremely knowledgeable with so many animals. Jaclyn is so much more than a pet sitter ....a job that she does lovingly, caringly, precisely and joyfully. Jaclyn treats the animals (in our case - dogs, cats, and bearded dragon) in her care as though they are her own. She follows our instructions to a tee. Dispensing meds as required and cleaning the animal feeding bowls after their meal. Jaclyn also house (and pet) sat for us while we were away. To give the reader a sense of who Jaclyn is ....... before our return and without prompting Jaclyn stripped the bed, washed the sheets and remade the bed. We had clean sheets upon our return and didn't have to make the bed ourselves. We have never had a house sitter do that before. Our preference would be only use Jaclyn for pet and house sitting. But alas she has moved westward ..... She is the BEST!!!!!
We met Jaclyn in 2025 and became fast friends as we trusted her 100% with our beloved animals, including at the time 4 cats, two dogs and a bearded dragon. Her housesitting was amazing, her care for our loving animal family was above and beyond. She took care of our house, she left our towels and sheets washed and cleaned, she collected her mail, watered her plants! We miss her so much but know that other families will benefit from her care love. Thank you!!
I have worked closely with Jaclyn for a few years and I have nothing to say but good about her attention to detail and ability to read animal behavior. I have seen her proficiently handle a wide range of dogs in size and behavior. I firmly stand behind her pet care standards and abilities.

Schedule
I am currently looking for full-time work, but when I do overnights, I stay there every night after work, and in the past, I have been able to come during my work shift to do potty breaks, etc. I will update this as soon as I hear about employment.
