Dogsitter with Backyard
Hello! My name is Jackie and I've been a dog mom for over 20 years. My first pup was a Golden Retriever named Sam and my second is an Aussie named Norman. Long before Rover I would often house/pet sit for friends. I have experience with all ages of dogs. I cared for my good ole boy Sam from puppyhood until he was almost 15. On the other hand, Aussie Norman is high-functioning and anxious dog. He gets along well with other pups and loves playing.

This was Breezy’s second time staying with Jackie and we had another great experience! She took Breezy on walks, to the park, and made sure she got lots of playtime in the yard. I also really appreciated the nightly updates and photos while I was away. Breezy always seemed happy and well cared for. I would definitely use her again!
Jaclyn was absolutely wonderful, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Her home is not only lovely, but it also feels incredibly safe and welcoming, which gave us so much peace of mind leaving our small pup in her care. She is kind, patient, and clearly has a natural way with dogs. Our pup can be a little rascal and anxious around other dogs, but he settled in beautifully thanks to her calm and attentive approach. And her sweet dog Norman is such a gentle, friendly companion, our pup did great. It’s clear Jaclyn truly cares, and that makes all the difference. We’ve already rebooked with her and feel so grateful to have found someone we trust. Highly recommend!
Jaclyn did an amazing job watching my dog Bene. She was very attentive to all the information I provided and went out of her way to ask clarifying questions. I loved her daily updates with photos that made me feel at ease when I was missing my pup the most! I really loved how considerate and kind she was. Also, my dog came home happy and exhausted! He loved his walks, cuddles, and backyard time. Highly recommend!

Jaclyn was great. My aging terrier came home after a week with Jaclyn seeming content and well-fed (which is a rare since she’s not a good eater). Jaclyn sent photos every few days, and was chill about accommodating our early morning drop off time so we could catch our flight.

Schedule
I work from home and am able to let dogs out as often as necessary, plus I have a doggie door. We live in a great neighborhood where it is easy to go out for walks.

Safety, trust & environment
My house has a doggie dog that fits pups up to 80 lbs! It gives them great freedom to move in and out for bathroom breaks as they wish. Although the house is small, it has a large backyard. Norman is a friendly Aussie who loves other dogs, big and small, and would love a play friend. Pups can sit on the couch, just not the beds.
Pets
A typical day
I usually go for a walk midday and/or a run or walk after work and love bringing pups. It makes me happy seeing how happy they are running around outside. Of course, it is up to the owner if they prefer their dog gets a walk or a run. On the weekends I love hiking and would take the pups too.

- Let me know if your pup is good in a car and with other dogs, or if they are territorial about toys or food. The backyard is large, if your dog likes to escape that is good to know too.
