I work a 3-4 night weekly schedule, leaving me plenty of extra time for taking care of others pets. Specializing in hospice and palliative care spaces, I will give your ailing or senior pets all I can in our time together. As far the healthy, middle aged or very young pets, I can also do everything with them just as you would if you were home. I look at it as my priority to keep your babies schedules & routines as normal as possible when you cannot be home. I hold a deep reverence for the sick, special needs or disadvantaged animals that are the hearts of our homes.

Anything to make our time together as easeful as possible, I just want you to be able to let go of the stress and worry and know I've got things covered at home. Peace of mind is the only way!
A typical day
Literally anything you would like! We would have a prior conversations pertaining to all of the do's and don'ts and I follow explicit instructions.I leave it to you to tell me about all of their needs, likes and dislikes and routines and schedules. If your pet needs it- I have all the TLC to give. If healthy space is your pet's need, than that's what we'll do.

Pet care experience
As a former owner of two special needs pets, I understand the need for individualized care, especially when considering being away and leaving them with a sitter. I have spent the past 4 years employed in a 24 hr Pet Emergency Hospital as an ER and Intensive Care Unit veterinary assistant. I can provide the sometimes slightly harder to find services for your pets, including the ability to provide comfort with the administration of any and all eye, ear, nose, throat and oral / sublingual medications. Sub q fluids, insulin shots and blood glucose pokes for monitoring and logging are no problem! Ear cleaning, nail trimming, anal gland expression, bathing, and safe de-matting are also services I can provide, as well as a variety of physically therapeutic treatments. There's no task too big or too intimidating for me. - No details too tedious. I am grateful to be able to do it all for you while you cannot be there. I will care for your pets as if they are my very own.

Jaclyn has assisted me on numerous occasions, providing exceptional care for my household, which includes a dog, multiple cats, and a parakeet. Her services have included administering medication, caring for our pets while we are away, and successfully managing challenging tasks such as trimming the nails of my very anxious dog. She has also used her knowledge and experience to help me with stray animals I have brought in. She is always gentle, patient, and loving with my animals. Jaclyn is very professional and takes the care of animals seriously, Her heart is always in everything she does for them. I highly recommend her; you and your pets will not be disappointed.
I’ve known, worked with and have been friends with Jackie for 20 years. During the pandemic I had to go to the mainland (from my home in Hawaii) and was terrifically grateful that Jackie was available to come to my home and take care of my two cats, Buffy and Angel. She looked after my home, my car and my beloved pets for 3 weeks while I was visiting my aged dad and the rest of my family. She has a background in animal care as a veterinary assistant and also is a terrific housekeeper. My kits warmed up to her immediately. She lives in NY and I live in Hawaii and if not for the distance I’d use her every time I leave my cats for travel. She is the best.
Jaclyn is the BEST cat sitter you could ever ask for. She is gentle and kind, very smart, and extremely detail oriented. My 3 cats are on multiple meds both am and pm and Jaclyn navigates all these meds with ease. Two of my cats are feral with anyone but me and Jaclyn gives them their space, while making sure their meds are taken. My third cat absolutely adores Jaclyn and starts rolling around on the carpet and drooling when she sees Jaclyn. There is no one I trust with my beloved babies but Jaclyn. I don't know what I would do without her.
