Safety, trust & environment

As a proud fur mom, I’ve learned that every pet has unique needs and routines. For example, while one of my dogs can spend extra time outdoors, the other tends to snack on grass until it upsets his tummy—reminding me how important it is to tailor care to each animal’s personality and health. At night, I crate my pups to give them a safe, cozy space while ensuring the household gets a good night’s rest. I know that every family runs their home differently, and my goal is to respect those differences by providing care that feels personalized, comfortable, and consistent with your pet’s routine.

Information Jaclyn H. would like to know about your pet

My dogs do have some special needs. My boxer has seasonal allergies and may develop a rash on her lower stomach. When this happens, she will need to wear her cone to prevent licking.

A typical day

🐶 With Dogs • Walks & Adventures – Take them on new routes for fresh smells and sights. • Fetch or Tug-of-War – Classic energy burners that also build trust. • Puzzle Toys / Treat Games – Hide treats in toys or around the house for them to sniff out. • Training Practice – Work on “sit,” “stay,” or even fun tricks. Mental stimulation can be just as tiring as physical exercise. • Agility Fun – Use household items (like chairs and broomsticks) to create a mini obstacle course. • Photo Sessions – Dogs often love the attention and you can share cute pics with their family. 🐱 With Cats • Interactive Toys – Feather wands, string toys, or laser pointers to get them moving. • Hunting Games – Hide small treats around the house to engage their natural instincts. • Climbing & Exploring – Encourage them to use cat trees, tunnels, or boxes for exploration. • Gentle Grooming – Many cats enjoy brushing—it can be bonding and relaxing. • Training with Clickers or Treats – Believe it or not, cats can learn tricks like “high five” or “sit.” • Quiet Cuddles – Some cats love nothing more than curling up next to you for downtime. 🐾 For Both Dogs & Cats • Enrichment Crafts – DIY toys with boxes, paper bags, or old T-shirts. • Snuffle Mats or Treat Scavenger Hunts – Good for both species to use their noses and brains. • Calm Music or Storytime – Many pets find comfort in soft music or hearing your voice as you read.

Pet care experience

As a lifelong animal lover and dedicated caretaker, I bring both experience and genuine passion to every pet I look after. Growing up in a pet-loving family and currently sharing my home with two energetic dogs, I understand the importance of providing pets with not only routine care but also patience, play, and companionship. My family-oriented nature shines through in the way I treat every animal as part of the family, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and engaged while their owners are away. Along with reliability and strong communication skills, I offer a nurturing, energetic, and responsible approach that gives pet parents peace of mind knowing their furry companions are in caring hands.
