Helping pets feel safe and loved!

Pet care experience

I’ve taken care of family and friends’ pets over the years. Whether it’s spending the night while an owner is out of town or long walks in the park, I’m happy to make your pet feel comfortable and loved while his or her family is away. I’m comfortable with feeding, giving medicine, paying close attention to ensure safety, and of course, long walks! Of course I’m happy to sit quietly far away from your cat when he or she needs space but also wants someone around :)

While I have a cat at home (Sesame, my king) I can certainly come to yours and stay with your pet (or just check in) when needed!

Information Jaclyn B. would like to know about your pet

I’d like to know: - what your dog’s comfort level is with other dogs (re: dog parks and interactions) so that I know what’s appropriate for playing and make him/her feel safe around other pets - what helps your dog calm down and or have fun (favorite toys, activities, etc) - If your dog has any incontinence problems and needs to wear diapers or other measures to take to ensure cleanliness and comfortability when he or she is going to the bathroom - what are your pets eating habits, routines, treats for certain behaviors? - what corrective commands are appropriate to use for your pet if they’re doing something you don’t like or putting themselves in danger - is there a family vet and if so, contact information for getting your pet quickly and safely to someone who can care for them should that be needed - any backup contacts or other trusted pet family and friends that should be notified in the event of an emergency

A typical day

Depending on the dog’s ability and parent’s comfort, I love to take dogs on hikes to explore other terrain and adventure through it! For example Lair O’the Bear. I also think long walks through local parks like Cheeseman, Congress, City Park, and Sloan’s lake. I love to play fetch, get caught up with on jogs, and just relax and sunbathe once we’re both tired out.
