Dog Mom with a Big Heart
I am a dog mom to a very sweet cocker spaniel. We live in a house with a fenced in yard in Lakeside. My pup is very mellow and gets along with every dog he meets. My older dog recently passed so he loves having new friends to keep him company or to join him on walks. I have experience with special-needs dogs and have never met a dog I didn't love! I am a public school teacher so my schedule is more flexible June-August. Being a dog mom I know how important it is for your fur baby to get the best care while you are away. It is my goal to make sure your dog maintains their schedule and gets plenty of extra love.

Jacklyn was amazing! She kept us up to date with our doggos and took great care of them! She was even able to pick them up and drop them off! She made everything much easier and her level of commucation and efforts to provide frequent picture and video updates gave us great comfort while missing our doggos.
Dax had a great time with Jacklyn. She was very sweet and attentive.

Schedule
During the school year I work from 7:45-4:00 each day. My morning availability is limited for drop-ins, but I am available most afternoons and weekends!

Safety, trust & environment
I do not crate my dog. However, I do have a gate in my kitchen and can keep my dog or your dog gated there. I like to do what you feel is best for your dog and their safety and comfort is my top priority!

A typical day
We go for daily walks around my neighborhood. We always walk where there are sidewalks or quiet streets and lots of places to smell! We like to go on longer walks throughout the city or the James River Park System. I have lots of friends with dogs and we like to get our dogs together for doggy play dates in a back yard or a dog park!

- I love all dogs of every breed and size! I am more than happy to take any dog on a long walk or just check-in for some playtime and cuddles. However, I do live with a dog of my own. If you choose to board your dog with me he/she will need to get along with other dogs. I am happy to board multiple dogs at a time.
