I am a qualified veterinary physiotherapist from South Africa. I have grown up with dogs and since moving to the UK, I have been longing to have pets in my house again so I can ensure your pets will be treated as my own. I have experience in dog walking, dog and cat sitting, fostering and veterinary physiotherapy for dogs, cats and horses.

Our 2 year old GSD,Kalli, stayed with Jackie for 12 days. We were.given updates every few days with pictures. On collection she seemed very happy and contented and looked well. Communication with Jackie beforehand, including a meet up with her and Kalli was good. Would recomend her service and will use again. Ian and Christine Burchell
Jackie looked after our bull terrier, Nelson, while we were away on holiday and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better. Nelson is a strong boy and, like many bull terriers, can sometimes be a little stubborn and nervous, so it was really important for us to find someone patient, confident and understanding, and Jackie was exactly that. As a dog physiotherapist, Jackie also brings a real depth of knowledge and expertise when it comes to understanding dogs, particularly those that may feel a little uncomfortable with change. That experience really showed in the calm and thoughtful way she handled Nelson and helped him settle while we were away. She kept us updated throughout our holiday, with pictures and short videos, which gave us real peace of mind. When we returned, Nelson was relaxed, happy and clearly very comfortable with Jackie, which says everything. We’re incredibly grateful for the care and attention she gave him and would happily recommend Jackie to anyone looking for someone kind, knowledgeable and trustworthy to look after their pet. Jackie has been the absolute best with my dogs! She is so responsible (and is actually their physiotherapist so they couldn’t be in more capable hands)! I’d highly recommend her to absolutely anyone who needs an extremely knowledgeable and passionate sitter. We will of course continue to use Jackie for all of our dog care needs!
Jackie was absolutely incredible when it came to walking and dog sitting my Rottweiler (Karma). From the very beginning, she showed confidence, patience, and a genuine understanding of handling a large, powerful dog, which immediately put me at ease. She was always reliable, attentive, and clearly cared deeply about my pet’s safety and happiness. I trusted her completely in my home and with my dog, and she consistently went above and beyond to make sure all needs were met. I couldn’t have asked for a more trustworthy or capable caregiver.

Schedule
I am currently working part time so I am available on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. My partner, David, who is also a big animal lover can occasionally work from home so we will try ensure your pets will always have someone to play and cuddle.

I do not have any animals in the house so I will try keep the routine of your pets as similar to what they are used to.
A typical day
I will aim to keep your pets routine as close to what they are used to. I will enjoy a nice cuddle and play (toys and brain games) with your pets too.
