Hi my name is Jackie. I have loved, owned, and cared for animals my entire life. I love ALL animals but am especially fond of dogs and horses. They each have their own unique personalities. I currently own a very shy rescued Bernese Mountain Dog and a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. I also have 4 horses - a pony, a paint, an appaloosa, and a national show horse. I have never met an animal I haven't liked! During my lifetime, I have owned several breeds including: German Shepard’s, a sheepdog poodle mix, mutt's, lots of Akitas, a Great Pyrenees, a Corgi, and a Berner. If you entrust me with your dog, I will treat them like family. He or she will get lots of love, special attention, and cuddles (if they like that). I will listen to your dog's needs and ensure that I give them what you ask for. I have large and small breed experience. I also have over 20 years of dog rescue experience meaning not only have I adopted, but I have also fostered, pulled them from shelters and helped get them into loving homes. It also means I have seen a lot of things and have cared for very sick dogs. I understand several medical diseases among animals. I have cared for many dogs with acute and long-term illnesses. I am very capable of caring for those with special needs! I work from home so your pet will always have company and a watchful eye so you can have a worry-free vacation.

Jackie was so warm and enthusiastic! We appreciated her keeping us well-informed and sending lots of photos. She was especially sensitive to how my dog was getting along with her dogs and her family members. Jackie is extremely caring and I highly recommend her!
Leaving our pup with Jackie over the December holidays last year has been our most pleasant experience with Rover yet. Jackie did an excellent job caring for our Aussie, Zephyr, and I cannot say enough about how happy my husband and I were with her service. We scheduled a meet and greet, where she brought her adorable dogs Keldan and Lola. Zephy got along great with both of them, especially with Keldan who turned out to be a great play buddy. This was a long trip (nearly two weeks), and we felt so relaxed throughout our time away because Jackie was amazing with daily updates, pictures and was also quick to reach out if she had any questions. We had specific food, play, walk requests, and she took care of all of them diligently! Jackie and her loving family even got Zephy a Christmas present, which was such a sweet surprise!! This goes above and beyond the type of service that will put you at ease when you are away from your pup. Zephy came back home so happy and relaxed, like he went on a vacation of his own!! I would highly recommend Jackie for your pet boarding needs and would absolutely reach out to her for our future vacation plans.
Jackie, her husband, and her dogs were great hosts to our puppy. Jackie was super thoughtful in a meet and greet to get a sense of how the dogs got along and talk me through how she manages potential issues. First stay was great and our pup is still happy and sleepy 12 hours later -- looking forward to the next time!
Jackie treated our guy as her own and was professional, competent and kind. She knows her animals!
Jackie is a wonderful dog sitter. She is so loving and kind to my baby girl while we are away. She makes my dog feel at home and provides wonderful attention and affection. Lots of daily pictures and updates makes our time away stress free!
Jackie was super caring and great when I left my dog with her and her pups for day care a few times a week! I loved the picture updates from her throughout the day and how she was able to take him out on walks, play with her dogs, and matched his feeding schedule. The flexibility in the hours for drop off and pick up were also very helpful for me.
