As lifelong dog lovers, we are excited to provide a safe, caring, and welcoming home environment for your pets while you are away. Pet care allows us to combine something we genuinely enjoy with the opportunity to save for future family travel adventures. Our household currently includes our 17-year-old daughter, who shares our love of animals and assists with pet care responsibilities. As my husband works away for extended periods, my daughter and I are the primary caregivers for the dogs staying in our home, ensuring they receive consistent attention, exercise, companionship, and supervision. We have experience caring for a wide variety of breeds and sizes, from small companion breeds such as Pugs to giant breeds such as St. Bernards. Our family owned a Black Lab/Golden Retriever cross for nine years, and we currently share our home with a medium-sized mixed breed dog and an indoor cat. Our home setup allows us to comfortably separate our cat from visiting dogs if needed. Our experience includes: • Daily dog walking and exercise routines • Caring for puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs • Administering oral medications • Monitoring pets for changes in behaviour, appetite, or activity level • Providing companionship, enrichment, and individualized care based on each dog's needs • Experience handling dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments For the safety and comfort of all pets in our care, we ask that dogs staying in our home are friendly, non-aggressive, and comfortable around other animals and people. We do not have breed preferences and are happy to care for dogs of all sizes and backgrounds, provided they are a good fit for our home environment. We understand that every dog has unique needs and personalities, and we strive to provide the same level of care, attention, and affection that we would want for our own pets.
