I grew up with a medium-size black lab mix and a crazy outdoor cat and I frequently walk and look after dogs and cats through the app and for friends and family. I live in central DC near a great dog park and love spending time with dogs, getting them exercised and socialized (or keeping them away from trouble spots if they don't get along with other dogs). I've also taken care of many cats over the years. I understand how much people's pets mean to them and will treat your dog or cat with the same love and attention you do. I look forward to giving your pets the attention and exercise they need when you're not available! I also have a fair amount of flexibility in my work schedule and can be available in the middle of the work day as needed. I'm also happy to work with reactive or anxious animals. I have my own reactive dog who I've done extensive training with and I will treat your pet with patience and care, meeting them where they're at.

I'm comfortable with crating or allowing pets to sleep in the bed, or anything in between depending on your preferences! When in your home, I will treat it with the utmost respect.

Jackie L. cancelled a booking 3 days before it was scheduled to begin.
Jackie stayed with our dog and two cats while we were out of the country. She was responsible, communicative, and our pets were happy when we returned. I’m an anxious pet parent but she helped me feel at ease while I was away. One of our cats needs regular medication each day, and one had an eye issue just before we left and needed eye drops for the first few days of Jackie’s stay. Jackie was fantastic making sure they both got their meds. She also left the apartment in great shape! Will definitely be booking with her again.

Schedule
I currently have to be at the office for my job four days per week so I'm unfortunately not available during the day most weekdays. But I'm happy to do walks/check-ins in the evenings and can do weekend overnight stays.
