I am a full time student right now, but I am free for services over the weekend or summer break! I may not be able to do extended stays, but I am happy to do walks, drop in’s, and short house sittings!

Not offering boarding in my home at this time. However my personal policy will always be to leave things better than how I found them, so I will hopefully not bring much disruption to a client’s home!
Information Jackie K. would like to know about your pet
If a dog has special needs, I'd love to know ahead of time, so I can prepare for whatever accommodations are needed! If a dog prefers certain places or toys or anything, I would also like to make him or her as comfortable as possible, so I would appreciate that information as well!
A typical day
I would consult with the caregiver to find out what activities their pets are interested in and indulge in those activities if possible! I personally enjoy playing with their toys, and I like to take my friend's dog to the park nearby and throwing a frisbee with him.

Pet care experience
I am generally experienced in dog and cat care with my friends and past pet sitting, as well as owning my own kitty. I've raised two kittens and helped to raise my friend's Blue Heeler puppy, so I have experience with littler babies. I volunteered as a dog walker at a shelter, so I have a good amount of experience in dog walking and some enrichment! I also worked at a VCA vet as a technician assistant in specialty surgery, and now I am in veterinary school at Tufts University and have handled many dogs and cats through school. I am no expert yet but definitely have a good amount of experience in caring for pets and in understanding medical issues. I love animals in general, so I am always willing to learn more beyond the dog and cat :)
