I recently retired and am available most days and evenings to provide attentive care. I’m also available to make home visits, and can walk your pet in your neighborhood or take them to a local dog park or other type of recreation area.

We have a gated deck and mostly fenced-in yard where we can play ball, and I can also take your pup for walks in the neighborhood. We also have lots of toys, beds, and learning games.

Please let me know if you have special instructions for your pet. I’m happy to bring toys, treats, games, as permitted. Also, if I'm driving a pet for a walk, let me know how you expect them to be retained in the car, i.e. special harnesses, etc.
A typical day
When watching dogs, I will take them for walks at their own pace. For more energetic dogs, we'll walk faster and longer; for senior or slower dogs, we'll take our time. I also have a dog stroller for those pups who want to get outside but aren't able to get around well. I also enjoy playing catch, chase, or tug, and giving pats, hugs, ear and belly rubs.

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs for the past 16 years, when I got a puppy for my kids. A few years later we adopted another dog as a companion. Our dogs are part of our family. I have experience from puppy through senior pup, which includes giving medications. I’ve also worked as a Veterinary Technician and volunteered as a dog walker at a shelter. Both were rewarding experiences which provided me additional practice with sick pet care and leash walking.

Jackie was great with my cat, ZuZu. She sent pictures every day and let me know how ZuZu was doing. It was real peace of mind while I was on my trip.
Jackie is very friendly and so good with our cat. She arrived everyday right on time and sent us a picture too. It was a comfort knowing that my kitty was in such good hands while we were away.
Jackie is an animal lover through and through! With a background as a vet tech, she has the knowledge to keep our guy safe in her care! Our dog Appa loves Jackie. It is evident how well he is taken care of by his excited response to her!
Jackie has been taking care of my dogs for over a decade now and treats them like her own. She is super attentive and gives great scratches! My dogs might love her more than they even love me!
