Dog guests love our secured yards and comfy dog beds! We have one indoor/outdoor (very friendly but low energy) dog and an indoor cat and I'm home with pets all day. Large home with grassy front yard and large backyard. Pool, for dogs who like swimming. Dogs get to come inside and outside as they like, and I always supervise them. Our dog loves visitors, and our cat tolerates them. If your dog likes walks, we do one lengthy walk (if it's not too hot) every evening. If your dog likes to play, we have a yard full of toys and are happy to throw things and play tug-of-war. Want frequent updates? No problem. I'll take eleven million pictures of your dog being cute. Care is tailored to your and your pet's preference. We're used to special dietary needs and administering medications. I have stairs to our bed for little and older dogs and they're welcome on all the furniture. If your dog is into binging shows, I am agreeable as long as they do not have terrible taste. We love our pets and we like knowing they're happy when we're away, too! For housesitting, I'll be there as much as you like. You will come home to your house exactly as you left it, with happy pets.

At this time, we are not offering pet sitting services in our home. We recently adopted a stray cat, and he's still very skittish with new people and animals.

We rebooked Jackie to housesit and stay with our three pups while traveling for work. This was the first time we left two of our three dogs overnight (the oldest has past experience with other dogsitters pre-2020), but any concerns I had evaporated when I saw how happy and at ease our dogs were when they saw Jackie again after she had previously taken care of them during the day about six weeks ago. Our dogs have very different personalities, including a puppy with seemingly limitless energy and an older rescue who is very skittish, but Jackie seems to navigate their needs and idiosyncrasies with kindness and skill. As we agreed, she kept us updated with the dogs’ exploits a few times each day, which also helped to ease my separation anxiety! After spending so much time at home with them over the past few years I wasn’t sure that I would be comfortable being away from our dogs, but I feel so much better about traveling again now that I know they’re in such good hands with Jackie.
Jackie was so wonderful in caring for our three dogs while I was in the hospital. This was a rather last-minute house sitting request, but Jackie was super accommodating and even made time to do a meet and greet with our pups beforehand to make sure this was a good fit for everyone. The dogs immediately gravitated towards her - which really says something, as they’re usually quite shy around people they don’t know - and they were thrilled to see her when she returned a couple days later to stay way out house. We have two seniors and a rambunctious puppy, but Jackie was fantastic at managing their very different personalities and needs. It was such a relief to know that our furkids were in such kind, capable hands at an otherwise stressful time for us. We’ll definitely be booking with Jackie again in the future!
Jackie is amazing! We were really worried before our trip because of some existing health issues and she took great care of our puppies. The dogs adore her and we she went above and beyond taking care of the house. Highly recommend!!!
We recently returned from a month long trip and hired Jackie Lanni to care for our Lab retriever, elderly cat, house, pool and yard. We could not have been more pleased. The house was orderly and clean, (the Lab's constant shedding had been vacuumed); the pool free of algae and, most importantly, the animals healthy and happy. Our lab absolutely loved Jackie. Jackie is responsible, conscientious and thorough. We'll for sure be using her again.
