I am retired. I absolutely love caring for dogs the only time I’m away is when I scheduled vacation and every so often I block a day out so I can get everything done other than that I’ll leave house to go to the supermarket or run an errand.

I have a fenced yard enclosed front courtyard and a side yard that I can separate if a dog becomes ill and needs to be separated from those dogs here I take in a limited amount of dogs and all dogs must be current on vaccinations.

I would like to know any medical issues: seizure disorders, diabetes or special care needed. I am good with dogs that are fearful or need a little bit more help with socialization. You should definitely let me know if your dog has a history of biting other dogs or humans ! If your dog is aggressive or has a strong prey instinct, I would like to do a meet and greet if possible with the dogs I expect to be here. If you have a dog that you would prefer not share the home with other guests dogs we can discuss your needs and the associated cost. I have experience with dogs that present with health and emotional challenges so they have a happy and safe stay. I do not take un-neutered or un-spayed pets. This is NOT because your dog is not well behaved, rather when co- boarded with other dogs that are neutered, the neutered pets can feel threatened and act out or mark territory both inside and outside the home.
A typical day
I live in a safe neighborhood with no homes behind me and easy access to beautiful walking paths. I am a block and a half away from beautiful hiking trails so there are plenty of choices for where we will walk depending on your dogs activity level!

My home home and garden is immaculate and full of thoughtful details for the safety and comfort of pups. I am retired from the corporate world and my second- half career is my dog business. I provide a clean and loving home and truly do understand dog behavior. Pups who to come to me, become loyal customers and return over and over again. Your pup will be on their schedule and routines they are used to at home. Your pet will tell you if he's had a good time or not! My furry VIP Guests are always happy and well-adjusted when they come home! My routine is calm and organized your furry children will receive plenty of love and attention. I am experienced with older and special needs dogs. I am experienced with administering meds and injections . Pet guests have unlimited access to a very safe and clean manicured backyard and I am home all day! I book a limited amount of pups, as a result I have to make those available slots work for me. My fees are fair and not negotiable. holidays have a $10 premium per day I do discount second and third dogs. Holidays are: Christmas Week Thanksgiving Week New Year’s Easter Memorial Day and Labor Day Weekend Fourth of July For overnight boarding the cost per night is for a 24 hour day. Your drop off time starts the clock if you’re going to drop in the AM & pick up in in the PM please be sure to book a daycare in addition to your night(s) of boarding. IMPORTANT Out of an abundance of courtesy to my neighbors I CANNOT accept dogs that bark loudly too much. If neighbors complain I’m out of business. If your pet has incontinence issues we need to discuss the level of incontinence (there are some that I’m willing to take for an extra fee) but if your dog is 100% incontinent I’m afraid I will have to decline. Pet owners please be on time. I understand there are traffic delays and unforeseen events so when these happen I appreciate a phone call. The hours to accept pick ups and drop offs is from 7:00AM until 7:00 PM . The city of Laguna Niguel has strong policies concerning running a home business in a residential area. No exceptions. Jackie is the best. After a few minutes of leaving slightly nervous Harvey I could tell she is the ultimate professional dog person. We came back after 3 days and Harvey was as calm as can be! Highly recommend Jackie.

Jackie looked after our Pomeranian, Benji, and she was fantastic! She was incredibly kind and attentive, taking great care of him and keeping us updated with plenty of photos. We’ll definitely be booking with her again soon!
