I love all breeds, and I am familiar with caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and activity levels. I also have experience with dogs that require daily medication, as well as techniques to make this routine less distressing for them.
A typical day
I enjoy playing fetch, taking long walks, and tailoring my level of care to the animals needs. Some pets need more attention, and some just need you to be sitting close by to feel at ease. A typical day will vary, and I will stay flexible to attune myself to the habits and patterns of the animal I am caring for.

Pet care experience
I grew up with animals my whole life. I started caring for the animals in my family around age 10. I have done multiple extended house/pet sitting stays for up to a month. I also have repeat clients whose pets I care for when they are called out of town at the last minute. Please reach out with the dates needed, and I will look forward to meeting you and your furry friends!

Jack watched our dog and house for 4 days and did a great job. He was communicative and great with our 3.5 year old lab. Highly recommend if you want peace of mind while traveling.
We have used Jack twice now to dog and house sit for us and he always does a great job. Our dog is challenging -- he's not friendly with other dogs or people, he has mobility issues, and he can be very picky -- but Jack is always very patient and understanding with him. This last time our dog became seriously ill and my husband and I thought we would have to cut short our trip. But Jack did a great job of getting him to the vet, giving him his meds, cleaning-up his messes, and taking good care of him. He assured us that he could handle it and he did. Our dog was fine by the time we returned. I highly recommend Jack.
Jack did a wonderful job taking care of Fen and Eddie during the 7 days and night we were in DC for Thanksgiving. He got along well with the dogs, sent us updates and pictures and communicated nicely. The house was spotless when we got home. What a nice relief! 5 stars! We will use Jack again when we travel.
