Jack was great, from the initial visit through the stay.

Jack was very accommodating. We had trouble booking a pet sitter for Thanksgiving. He came through for us. He came over for a meet & greet, too. He came over and fed our 2 cats & 2 dogs without a hitch. I would highly recommend him.

I’m writing to highly recommend Jack as a Rover sitter/walker. We first met as colleagues, but quickly formed a friendship that has lasted many years. In that time, I’ve seen not only how he carries himself professionally, but also how he shows up for the people in his circle. Jack is punctual, communicates clearly, and takes responsibility seriously; all qualities that make him an excellent fit for caring for other people’s pets. He’s also great with animals of all temperaments. I know this firsthand because I have a cat with a tougher personality, and despite that, Jack always approaches him with playfulness and curiosity rather than caution, all while respecting his boundaries. Jack is very active, which makes him perfect for dogs who need frequent walks or high-energy playtime. Whether it’s a long hike or a quick neighborhood walk, he'll keep animals engaged, safe, and happy. I’ll end by saying that one of Jack’s biggest strengths is that he’s a problem-solver. If something unexpected comes up (a nervous pet, a leash situation, weather changes, anything) he stays calm, assesses the moment, and handles it responsibly. You can trust that he’ll do the right thing without hesitation, every time. For these reasons, I am confident that Jack would be an exceptional addition to Rover. I’d trust him with my own pets without question.

Jack loves animals and would love spending quality time with your pet. Since he was a kid, Jack has had cats and dogs. He understands how to be a responsible and caring pet caregiver. Jack is active and playful so he would be perfect for helping your pet get some of their energy out if that’s what they need. He will take great care of your pet.

Jack has owned several dogs of various breeds, including an 80 pound Bernedoodle and a large husky/Great Pyrenees mix and trained them to follow many commands. He is confident around and relaxed with dogs of all sorts. He is affectionate, calm, and playful and has watched our dog for extended periods. We trust him wholeheartedly with our dog and recommend him with no reservations! He is extremely responsible and trustworthy in all matters and will make an excellent pet/house sitter.
