My wife and I are caring and compassionate animal lovers with over 30 years of experience with dogs, horses, and small critters. As a retired individual, I love to run, play, and explore with our two poodles on a large acre farm. Our well-mannered, spayed girls are a part of our family and are very friendly towards other animals and people. ** After over a year’s experience with being Rover caregivers, we can no longer book high energy pups over 60 pounds if they are not crate-trained, leash trained (no excessive pulling), or if they do not have excellent recall. We strive to be a loving and personal alternative to a kennel, and we want your pup to be comfortable and love it here with us. We absolutely love caring for pups and enjoy being Rover caregivers!

I will not be able to say enough good things about them or their property or just how comfortable and happy I felt to have my dog, an elderly dog, stay with them. I would highly recommend Jack and Joanne for taking care of your pet They went above and beyond taking care of Hudson my seven-year-old wheat terrier while he stayed with them. Their love for animals shows straight through the minute you meet them. Their property is beautiful plenty of space to take a walk and play fetch. I was very fortunate to find their services.

Schedule
I am retired with a flexible part-time job. My wife and I welcome furry friends for occasional day stays or overnight stays. For a day stay, we prefer drop-off no earlier than 8:00 a.m. and pick-up no later than 6:00 p.m. We offer long walks on our property and lots of cuddles.

Safety, trust & environment
Our home has an open kitchen/dining room where we have a large crate, if needed. The doors and stairs have gates for the safety of our pets and any pet we would care for. We have a 2-year-old Standard Poodle and a Toy Poodle who is eight years old. They are extremely friendly, smart, and well-trained and would love to have the company of furry friends. Outside, we have a fence to protect pets from the road, but it does not go around the property. Behind the house is five acres of field for running, playing, and exploring. We also have over 30 acres of forest with trails for our pups to explore.

A typical day
Our property is a playground for furry friends! There is a tetherball pole, trails, lots of space to run, and toys to play with. If your pet likes to be outside, we can accommodate because our girls love to be outside. If they would rather spend time inside, we have a safe environment indoors, as well. We love animals and cannot resist playing and cuddling with them!
