I like to understand the pets behavior first (if they get nervous or not) to have them get comfortable and feel safe, and then we’d go for a walk to get some exercise in. Then I’d make sure they are hydrated and of course a couple treats for the good boy/girl!

Typically I would go for a walk and get excess energy out and do it’s favorite thing (play ball or belly rubs) and make sure it the pup has water and or food as needed.
