I have had dogs and helped taken care of a multitude of different breeds all my life. I grew up with pitbulls as a small child and learned how to tame and control the most “dangerous and ferocious” of breeds from a very young age. Throughout my life my family has been obsessed with dogs and we have had every breed under the sun from the very biggest in Great Danes to the smallest in Chihuahuas. I have always been very hands on in my household with the taking care of our dogs and have helped walk, clean, feed, play, and most importantly love these angels sent from the Lord himself. I am 21 years old and I’d argue from the time my brain reached consciousness I have been infatuated with man’s best friend. I can take care of any breed regardless of size or personality and do it to the highest level of efficiency and quality possible. In addition, to taking care of dogs my entire life within my own home and family, I have also been hired for freelance jobs by neighbors of mine to house-sit their dogs, so I have a track record of being trusted with others dogs in their own homes and have experience doing so. Additionally, I volunteer at the humane society frequently and help walk and play with the dogs there which come in a variety of different breeds who are often in stressful situations where I am required to clam them down and do so quite effectively. So if you’re out of town and looking for someone to take care of your sweet angel or in town and just looking for someone to give them a walk because you’re busy, I am the man!

Safety, trust & environment
I have historically cared for pets in my own homes by taking them for multiple walks a day so they can do their business and just get outside and be active. Often depending on the age of the dog or the friendliness to other dogs I may bring them to a dog park and let them play with their fellow dogkind. When I am not tiring them out or letting them use the restroom I will usually just snuggle up with them and perhaps watch tv or do work while they sit with me and we chill. I also of course feed them regularly and make sure they have water. Give them lots of love and kisses too. Also treats here and there when they are being a good boy/girl. As for sitting in your house I of course would respect any house rules you have and obey them and would never ruin or mess with your home. I also would always be down to meet your dog first for free just so they can get a feel for me if I would be watching them so you know they are in good hands with me and you yourself could get to meet me. As for my own home I live in a decently spacious apartment on Davis Islands. I would treat any dog in my home as if it was my own family member and treat them exactly as mentioned previously. I don’t have a yard or anything since I live in an apartment but there is lots of areas to walk in Davis Islands and I have a car which I’m okay with transporting your dog in to bring to a variety of dog parks in the area as well.

I wholeheartedly endorse Jack Eddy as a pet caregiver. He is extremely responsible, dependable, and genuinely loves animals. I’m very particular about who I trust with my own dogs and cat, and he’s one of only two people I feel completely comfortable leaving them with. His love for animals goes far beyond simply enjoying their company. He has volunteered to walk dogs since high school and will go out of his way to help an animal in need. He’s caring, attentive, and conscientious in everything he does. He’s also an excellent student with a very high GPA, which reflects his dedication and sense of responsibility. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone looking for someone they can truly trust to care for their pets.

Schedule
I am currently enrolled as a full time student at the University of South Florida and do have class in the afternoons on Monday-Wednesday. However, I am available Thursday-Sunday all day long and am free to house sit and work on weekends as well. I am also available to house sit on weekdays, but on Monday-Wednesday’s I will be gone for a few hours in the afternoon for class so Thursday-Sunday is more optimal for me for sitting needs. As for walking I am open to any time of the day any day of the week outside again of those afternoons on Monday-Wednesday.

I have plenty of experience with large and giant breeds, so don't hesitate to book if you've got a big dog or “aggressive” breed, such as some sort of terrier from the pound as I'm very comfortable handling them.
