I’ve been taking care of pets since I was a kid and have always loved being around both dogs and cats. I have a mountain dog at home, so I’m very comfortable with large breeds, but I’ve also worked with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I also have a grey tabby cat and recently fostered a mom cat with seven kittens—which was an amazing and rewarding experience. I’m patient, reliable, and always treat every pet with the same care and attention I give my own. As for the rate, I listed a number on my profile, but I’m open to discussing it based on the care your pet needs. Once I understand the routine and what’s expected, we can figure out something that works for both of us.

Safety, trust & environment
I care for pets by making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved whether I’m in your home or theirs. I follow any specific instructions you provide for feeding, medication, or routines, and I always pay close attention to their behavior and needs. I like to give them plenty of attention and affection, and make sure they get the right amount of exercise or rest based on their personality and what you, the owner, would like. Keeping the space clean and watching for any signs that something might be wrong is important to me, and I make sure to check in with owners regularly so they know how their pets are doing.

After having a very bad experience with another sitter, we were hesitant and anxious about finding someone new. Jack immediately clicked with our animals at the meet and greet, with our 75lb pit mix practically melting into his lap and a cat on his shoulder. With 2 dogs and 6 cats, our house is not easy and we threw Jack into the deep end without a trial run in advance, and our worries were eased as we received updates and photos and they were all being well cared for and loved. It is clear that Jack loves animals and that providing good care for them is important. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Jack again and have already contacted him for a future trip we have planned.
Jack is awesome at caring for our large breed dog, Titus. We adopted a puppy in June and were nervous about leaving him home all day once school hours returned in August. Having the peace of mind from Jack’s updates and photos from daily walks put us at ease. Jack is a natural with dogs, and he knew what questions to ask right away. It did not matter that Titus was 50 pounds at only 4 months old. Jack did great with Titus on leash walks and backyard play. Titus loves every visit. The communication has been stellar. I highly recommend Jack for your dog sitting/dog walking needs.

Schedule
I currently work at The Cheesecake Factory in Christiana Mall, and I always make time to fit pet care into my weekly routine. Even with a busy schedule, I prioritize Rover and make sure pets get the attention they deserve. I receive my work schedule every Saturday and update my Rover availability right away, so everything stays accurate and reliable.
