Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. During the week, I work from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and have a lunch break that allows me to come home for midday potty breaks, walks, and check-ins. I typically walk in the mornings before work, return home at lunch, and then spend additional time walking, playing, and relaxing with pets after work. On weekends, my schedule is even more flexible. Whether I’m spending time around the house, visiting a local park, or enjoying time around town, I love having dogs join me when appropriate. I intentionally plan my weekends around the pets in my care, and activities are always tailored to each animal’s age, energy level, personality, and needs. Whether your pet prefers long walks, playtime, quiet companionship, or extra support as a senior, they’ll receive plenty of attention, affection, and individualized care.

Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets in their own home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow feeding schedules, exercise routines, medication instructions, and any other care preferences provided by the owner. I understand that pets are often most comfortable in their familiar environment, so I focus on providing consistent care, companionship, and attention while you’re away. I am highly observant and attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, energy levels, or overall well-being, and I communicate regularly with owners through updates and photos. Whether your pet needs a brisk walk, playtime, cuddles on the couch, medication administration, or extra patience as a senior pet, I strive to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable until you return home.

Treating every pet like my own 🩷

Pet care experience

What sets me apart is the level of care, knowledge, and attention I bring to every pet. I’ve been pet sitting consistently since 2018 and have built lasting relationships with many repeat clients who trust me with their pets year after year. I have experience administering medications, working extensively with senior pets, and providing individualized care based on each animal’s unique needs and personality. I also have some experience reinforcing training and maintaining consistency with established commands and routines. My background includes a degree in Biological Sciences, where I studied subjects such as animal behavior and physiology. This education, combined with years of hands-on experience, has made me highly observant and attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, mobility, and overall well-being. Whether your pet needs extra patience, specialized care, plenty of exercise, or simply lots of affection, I prioritize their health, comfort, and happiness while treating them like a member of my own family.

I cannot recommend Jaci enough! She has watched my two large dogs—a Boxer and a mixed breed—multiple times, and I always have complete peace of mind knowing they’re in her care. Jaci goes above and beyond to make sure my dogs are happy, comfortable, and well cared for. She doesn’t just stop by to feed them; she takes the time to walk them, play with them, and give them plenty of attention and affection. She has even stayed longer than expected just to make sure they weren’t left alone too long and got the interaction and exercise they needed. As the owner of two energetic large dogs, it’s important to me that they receive both physical activity and companionship, and Jaci consistently provides both. My dogs absolutely love her, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about animals and treats them like her own. If you’re looking for someone who is reliable, trustworthy, caring, and willing to go the extra mile for your pets, I highly recommend Jaci. She has been wonderful with my dogs, and I would happily trust her with them again anytime.

My primary companion for several years was my dog, Steven. I often had to leave town for work, and Jaci would take care of Steve while I was gone. Steve would go to live at her place for days at a time and evidently had a blast. Jaci loved Steve as if he were her own pet, he got constant love, attention, exercise and play time. I would get pics and video updates all the time during my trips, and if I ever had a question, Jaci was quick with her communication. When I had knee surgery and was unable to walk for several weeks, Jaci quickly volunteered to take Steve out, knowing that he would still need exercise even if I was immobile. On the days when I had to drop Steve off before my trips, he would jump out of the car and run into the house - he knew exactly where he was and was perfectly comfortable and excited to be there. Steve wasn't a very emotive or excitable dog, so his enthusiasm to be with Jaci was always comforting :) Jaci is one of those people that has a way with animals and I would trust her with any of my beloved pets at any time.

Jaci is one of the best dog sitters we have ever had. She took great care of both dogs. Our dogs love her! The house was always super clean when we got back. She is super dependable and trustworthy. I would highly recommend Jaci.

Jaci has watched my 6 yr old Lab-pit mix, Zeke, on several occasions whether it’s for a night or for a week! He can be reactive so finding someone I feel comfortable watching and walking him can be hard but whenever she’s watching him I feel super at ease and know he’s safe. She’s incredible with him and always sends updates with pictures of them relaxing or walking! If you leave special instructions, she follows them to a T, whether it is “please take his collar off when he’s crated” or medication requests! She really cares for him like he’s her own dog, which gives me so much comfort when I’m away. She’s truly the best dog sitter and has genuine love for animals so if you get super anxious when having to leave your pet (like me) with someone while you’re away, she will take the best care of your little loved one!
