Caring for animals has always been part of my everyday life. Whether it’s early morning walks, playtime, or keeping a routine for feeding and medication, I naturally build my day around what pets need. I’m used to adjusting my schedule to fit each animal’s routine whether it’s a puppy who needs extra attention or a senior dog who needs a slower pace. Pet care isn’t just a task for me it’s something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to every day.

Safety, trust & environment
I follow each pet’s routine closely whether I’m in my home or yours. That includes feeding, walks, playtime, and any special needs like meds or crate training. I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved in a clean and calm environment.
Information Jacie K. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for any pet, I like to know their routine, personality, and any specific needs so I can keep things as consistent and comfortable as possible. Things like feeding schedules, energy level, favorite activities, and how they interact with new people are really important. I also want to know about any medical needs, medications, or triggers whether that’s anxiety, other animals, or certain environments. The more I understand upfront, the better I can make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and genuinely cared for while you’re away.
A typical day
A typical day for me revolves around making pets feel comfortable, cared for, and honestly a little spoiled. I start with morning walks, feeding, and checking in on how they’re feeling, then keep their routine consistent throughout the day so nothing feels off for them. I’m not the type to just “watch” pets I spend real time with them. That can look like long walks, playing fetch until they’re worn out, or just hanging out and giving them attention if they’re more relaxed. I like to match their energy, so whether they’re super active or more laid-back, they’re engaged, happy, and feel at ease the entire time.

Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm, surrounded by animals of all kinds from energetic puppies to senior dogs, barn cats, and even livestock. That experience taught me how to read animal behavior, respond calmly in unexpected situations, and provide gentle, consistent care. I also picked up a lot of practical skills, including how to support animals through stress, illness, or injury. Whether your dog needs extra patience, a structured routine, or just some good old-fashioned love and playtime, I’ve got them covered. I truly understand animals and I treat every pet like part of the family.
Reviews
Jacie is an excellent, responsible, and well loved caregiver for our two dogs. She has successfully cared for them over multi-day trips, and understands each pet's individual needs. They are so excited when she comes over that they forget all about my wife and I!
