Hi, I'm Jackie! I have had pets for over 20 years and am a huge animal lover. I have three cats and a dog - who are all incredibly spoiled. I also have experience with fish, reptiles, small pets, and birds as well. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds :)

Jackie was an excellent sitter and made our first booking through Rover easy and successful! Our 4 year old black lab has only been cared for by extended family members when we travel, so we were unsure how she would do with a sitter she had only met briefly before our trip. Things couldn’t have gone more smoothly! The daily pictures were great. When we returned, our dog was super excited to see us yet not clingy and anxious like she has been after others have cared for her for a day or weekend. Such a positive experience. We will use Jackie again for sure!
I was a little nervous using Rover for the first time but Jackie came to meet me and my dogs ahead of time to review things; she was super friendly and I felt comfortable from the get go. I got an update when she first got there and a few throughout the weekend as well with pictures. I would definitely use her again!

Schedule
I work from home and enjoy talking my dog on walks or out into the backyard during breaks or after work. We spend as much time as we can outside.

Safety, trust & environment
I care about any animal’s health and safety first. In my own home, I try to let the dog I’m sitting be as comfortable as possible - whether that’s being my shadow, hanging out on the couch, or supervising the neighborhood through the window. My dog, Banner, is 7 years old, 85lbs, and he loves other dogs - he’s very gentle with older or small dogs, too. While he likes to play in little bursts, he does not have puppy energy like he used to and my home wouldn’t be the best for a dog who needs a ton of playtime.
Pets
A typical day
We love hanging out in the backyard, walking around the neighborhood, and going on hikes at various parks in the area. Banner also has his own little dog pool that his friends can enjoy.
