Care With An Animal Whisperer

My name is Jacalyn, and I am a dedicated pet caregiver/house sitter in the West Bend area. When I’m not spending time with animals, I am a freelance artist working on long-term creative projects. Because my artwork is completely mobile, it makes me the perfect companion for your pets! I provide a consistent, calm presence in your home, ensuring your animals are never lonely, stressed, or left unattended for long periods. Specialized Experience & Skills: Unlike standard dog walkers, I have a deep, lifetime background in diverse animal care. You can completely trust me with your entire household ecosystem. Dogs: I grew up with a toy poodle in our home, caring for him when my parents went away. I would also house sit for our neighbor with medium-large dogs as a young adult. I have more recently house sat overnight for friends and my previous boss with two large dogs, providing structured feeding, walks, and plenty of play time. Small Pets: I formerly worked at a pet store where I was responsible for the daily care, feeding, and habitat maintenance of cats, dogs, birds, fish, rabbits and rodents. I also cared for my own pet mice, rats and rabbits over the years. I adore all animals, big and small. Animal Shelter Volunteer Roots: My love for animals started early—I volunteered at our local animal shelter with dogs and cats as a kid, learning how to handle different temperaments, walk the dogs, and keep environments clean and safe. If you have an animal friend that needs care while you're away, dog walking or a permanent home/vacation home that needs house sitting and check ups, don't hesitate to send me a message.

Jacci is a lover of all animals big and small, furry, feathered, or scaled. Whether it’s a beloved pet or a critter she finds on her adventures and helps along their way. My husband and I were grateful to have such a kind soul take care of our two large dogs while we were out of town. We got photos while we were gone and came home to two happy, well cared for doggos. I truly can’t recommend Jacci enough.

Details are important. If there is anything relevant, the more I can prepare for a stress free experience with your pet. -Crate training or roams free -Leash manners (leash pulling) -Triggers with other animals, humans, sounds etc. -Aggression History (biting, guarding of food/toys) -Location of food, supplies, leash, etc. -Medical Needs -Separation anxiety (How do they handle being left alone for 2-4 hours if I run daytime pet visits) -Bathing and Brushing
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
