/ Updated 2025 \ I was a dog owner for more than 12 years, and unfortunately, he was getting rather old and passed away in November of 2018. Since then, I haven't gotten another pet myself, but I have sat well over 100 animals! I'm usually going on walks anyway, and I Love to bring dogs along to explore! Every pet has different needs, but I keep extensive notes to be sure I'm giving them the top care they deserve! Whether that means they're on medication, a special diet or need plenty of exercise, I'm able and ready for it all! I primarily have experience with dogs, but I have also cared for cats, bunnies, turtles, snakes, lizards, spiders, frogs, fish, hamsters, rats, squirrels, guinea pigs, chickens, ducks, llamas, and horses. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them before booking :)

We had such a great experience with Ten! He took amazing care of our two dogs - they got plenty of playtime in the backyard, lots of snuggles, and came home happy and tired (the best sign!). It was clear he really loves dogs and treated ours like his own. We’d absolutely book with him again!
Ten took good care of our pup! He provided prompt updates and made sure Lenny was comfy and well taken care of.
Ten took great care of our dog while we were in Ames visiting. He provided updates and gave Lenny all the love and snuggles.
He did a great job looking after my 10 week old puppy, she came back happy and ready for a nap!

I'm very versatile when it comes to pet care as I know ever pet had different needs. Whether your pet needs medicine, walks, attention or a special diet, Just let me know! I'll get it taken care of!
A typical day
We can go on walks, play fetch in the yard, or lounge on the couch. I'm adaptable to your pets needs, and happy to be as active or relaxed as they need!
