Hi, I’m J and I love taking care of animals while their humans are away. I’ve been pet sitting for 4 years, and got my start walking dogs. I understand that every animal is different, with different needs, and responds in different ways. I take the time to get to know each dog, and what they like and dislike. I’m always ready to give extra pets, walks, or treats when needed. I’ve also given liquid medication to a dog and a rat, and I’m willing to sit for pets that need meds. I’d love to meet your fur baby and take care of whatever they need while you’re away. I ask that any dogs I sit be properly leash trained. I’m happy to continue any training they’ve had, but if they frequently lunge or are aggressive on a leash, I will not be able to care for them. I do ask that everyone in the household be up to date on their COVID vaccines, I’m happy to share my vaccine card, so everyone is safe :) I ask about any routines already established, if I’ll be walking the pet or pets, I make sure to get to know their triggers. I make sure to keep an eye on the pet or pets and watch for any signs that they are in distress or not feeling well I’m not able to accept sittings for new clients with less than a 5 days notice.

I make sure to go over all needs of the pet, including if they have a habit of jumping over fences or don’t like to be approached a certain way. How much outside/walk time they need. I want to ensure their and others safety while in my care.

J was awesome. We contacted J last minutes because our normal sitter cancelled. J was willing to stay in our home overnight for 9 days/8 nights. J took awesome care of our two schnauzers, sending us daily pictures and updates. J also took care of our home including the pool. We highly recommend J!
J was very responsible and reliable during her stay in my home watching my dog. She is mature and makes good decisions as they are needed, communicates regularly, and follows instructions that are given while seeking clarification when they are not (guilty!). I would not hesitate to have her house/dog sit for me again.
J was great. Provided updates and pictures via text twice a day. Will definitely choose her again to watch over our furry friends.
J was an absolutely fantastic sitter for our two pups! They followed every instruction to the letter and were so incredible with our two boys. I had a whole list to make things easy (and also because I'm obsessed with my pups and was super nervous leaving them for a week) and J went above and beyond. We received daily pup-dates and pictures and videos and it was so clear that our pups were in the best hands possible. I was nervous that one of our boys may get the gloomies while we were away and may have refused to eat, but J was so attentive and fun that I don't think our one worrisome boy even really noticed that we were gone! They also kept our pups exercised and mentally enriched the whole time we were away. This was something super important to me that I'm not sure every sitter would understand, but J understood the importance with our boys being Australian Shepherds and their need for exercise/enrichment. Most importantly of all, both our pups loved J so much that when we arrived home and were chatting with them, our pups were still going up and asking for love and scritches from them. It was precious to see the bond they had built over such a short time and I'm so glad I found them. To sum it all up, J understood the assignment. And they are an absolute gem to have in your home to sit for your fur-babies. 11/10 Would absolutely recommend again and again.

J WAS AWESOME! We had J sit with our greyhound (who has some separation anxiety) and we could not have been more pleased. We received daily updates and photos, and came home to a happy and well cared for hound. I will book J in the future and will highly recommend to others!

Schedule
I work full time at a retail store, my schedule varies, but I work afternoon/evenings 5 days a week, and my shifts are 6-8 hours long. I also check on my cat once a day when I'm doing sittings, usually before I work or right after I get off.
