Thanks for checking out my sitter profile! I've been watching pets across the DC area for nearly 8 years, which includes experience as a walker and housesitter. I'm a dependable animal lover who will make sure your pet is happy and comfortable even while their people are away. I live with my partner in a very dog-friendly house in Landover Hills. While I manage the Rover account, my partner Lou--who is a caring pet parent with animal experience that includes a stint at wolf sanctuary-- also will keep your pet(s) company. We have two pups: the elderly Walden, a pug who sleeps 90% of the day, and Drax, an active mutt who enjoys playing with friends new and old in our yard but also cuddling up for evening snuggles. We have two cats who are friendly with dogs but have access to a dog-free office if any issues arise (so far we've only had adorable introductions as dogs' first cat friends--many nose boops). The house is in a suburban area and has a fenced in, maintained yard where your pup can happily spend their days playing with Drax, rolling in the grass, and sniffing around. Izzy continues to be an amazing pet sitter! We use him frequently for our dog Sammy and would gladly do so again. Him and his partner go above and beyond when taking care of pets. They even brought our dog to our wedding to celebrate with us! 👰♀️🤵♂️🐶
Izzy is someone who we’ve used many times and who we’d be happy to use again in a heartbeat! Sammy really enjoyed his time at camp, and it’s clear the love and attention that him and his partner give their pets. Izzy is very communicative, sends tons of photos, and made pickup and drop off of our dog really easy.
Leo love staying at camp as always and Izzy is very accommodating!
Izzy and Lou are wonderful people and caretakers. Always received pictures and updates from my dogs’ time at their place. Will definitely book again!
Izzy is the best!!
Izzy did a wonderful job taking care of my dog Ollie while we were away. It was the longest we'd ever boarded him for, and Izzy made us feel assured that he was getting great care and attention while we were away. We got lots of cute pictures and detailed updates about how Ollie was doing. Definitely made the experience much easier!!

Schedule
I work from home most days of the week; Lou works entirely from home. We often have guest animals in the house, so are used to a daily routine of breakfast and backyards romps after wake-up, multiple breaks throughout business hours, and plenty of play time and dinner in the evenings. We’re happy to incorporate your pet’s usual routine into ours to keep them comfy.

I’m attentive to dogs in my care and take pride in ensuring they are comfortable while their owners are away. While with us, your pet will be treated like our own and get plenty of attention, exercise, and care.

A typical day
Pets visiting Camp Walden will have the whole house (minus the room for cats to have their own space) and backyard to enjoy. We’re happy to take walks around the neighborhood or venture to the local dog park if that’s something your pet would enjoy/expect. You can expect pictures of your dogs making friends, eating (only owner-approved) snacks, and sleeping soundly while here.
