I work as a full-time dog walker and pet sitter, offering flexible availability from Monday to Sunday, because I understand that your furry friends need love, care, and routine every day of the week - not just weekdays. Dog walks and drop-in visits are available between 7:30am and 7:30pm, allowing for both early starts and evening care to fit around your schedule. House sitting services are arranged on an individual basis and will be discussed in detail with each owner to ensure the best possible care for your home and pets. My aim is to provide reliable, consistent, and stress-free care that works for both you and your pets 🐾💛

The safety, comfort, and wellbeing of every pet in my care is always my top priority. All services are provided in the pet owner’s home or out on walks, allowing pets to remain in familiar surroundings and continue with their normal routines. Before any service begins, I take the time to get to know each pet through an initial meeting and a detailed pet information form. This helps me understand feeding routines, exercise needs, medical requirements, behavioural traits, and any special care instructions. I have experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, and pregnant dogs, and I adapt my care to suit each pet’s individual needs - from gentle handling and slower walks to increased supervision and reassurance. When caring for pets in the owner’s home, I treat both the pets and the property with the utmost respect. I carefully follow all instructions provided, maintain home security, and aim to keep routines as consistent as possible to reduce stress and anxiety. During house sitting services, pets receive companionship, attention, and calm, reliable care while their home remains secure. For dog walking services, I assess each dog individually, use secure leads and harnesses, choose safe walking routes, and closely monitor behaviour at all times. Walks are tailored to each dog’s age, health, and energy levels to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. I am fully insured and DBS checked, and I maintain clear, open communication with owners throughout every service, including regular updates and photos. Understanding a pet’s behaviour and temperament is equally important. This includes how they are around other dogs, people, children, or animals, whether they have any fears, anxieties, or reactivity, and how they cope when left alone. Any history of aggression or triggers should always be disclosed so I can plan walks and visits safely. For services in the owner’s home, I also need clear information about home access, including keys, alarm systems, and any house rules. Letting me know which areas are off-limits, where supplies are kept, and any security instructions helps everything run smoothly.

A typical day usually starts with morning walks or drop-in visits, making sure dogs get a good start to the day with fresh air, exercise, and lots of positive interaction. Walks are tailored to each dog, whether that means an energetic walk with plenty of sniffing and exploring, or a slower, gentler stroll for senior dogs or pregnant dogs. Safety is always my priority, so I choose suitable routes and keep a close eye on each dog’s comfort and behaviour. Throughout the day, I provide drop-in visits for feeding, playtime, toilet breaks, and companionship. Fun activities can include interactive games, enrichment toys, gentle training reinforcement, or simply relaxed cuddle time - whatever best suits the pet. For puppies, this may involve routine-building, basic training support, and supervised play, while older pets may prefer calm interaction and reassurance. For pet sitting or house sitting services, I focus on keeping routines as normal as possible. Evenings often include another walk, dinner time, play, and settling pets down for the night in a calm, familiar environment. I also make sure homes are kept secure and tidy, giving owners peace of mind while they’re away. Throughout the day, I send regular updates and photos so owners can see how their pets are getting on. Every day is centred around making pets feel happy, safe, and loved - because caring for them isn’t just a job to me, it’s something I genuinely enjoy.
