Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my routine as I spend a lot of time at home and have plenty of flexibility to dedicate to the animals in my care. I’m able to provide lots of attention throughout the day rather than pets being left alone for long periods. Feeding, playtime, cuddles, enrichment and maintaining their usual routine are all incorporated into my day. My aim is for every pet to feel settled, comfortable and as at home as possible while their owner is away.

Safety, trust & environment
I provide a clean, spacious and pet-friendly home with a secure enclosed garden. Safety is extremely important to me, and pets are always cared for according to their individual needs, temperament and normal routine. Having previously worked within a veterinary practice, I’m confident handling animals and attentive to changes in their behaviour or wellbeing. I also own three cats; however, they can stay with my parents when I am boarding a pet who needs to be the only animal in the home or would feel more comfortable without other pets around.

A typical day
Every day is tailored to the individual pet. I try to keep their feeding, sleeping and general routine as similar to home as possible to help them settle. There will be plenty of affection, playtime and mental enrichment throughout the day. For pets who enjoy outdoor time, I have a secure enclosed garden, and dogs can enjoy walks around the neighbourhood and our lovely nearby green spaces. For cats, I allow them to settle at their own pace and provide play, enrichment, attention and plenty of cosy places to relax; whether they’re extremely affectionate or prefer their own space.

- The more I know about your pet, the better I can make their stay feel like home. Before caring for them, I’d love to know about their normal routine, feeding schedule, personality, behaviours, likes and dislikes, medical needs, medications, allergies and anything they may be nervous or reactive around. Please also let me know how they behave around other animals and people. No detail is too small; understanding your pet’s individual habits helps me provide safe, consistent and personalised care from the moment they arrive.
