Caring for animals is something I intentionally build into my weekly rhythm. I am typically available Monday through Saturday and have a flexible, open schedule, so I can give pets the time and consistency they need throughout the day. I also run my own art business, which allows me to work independently and stay flexible. This means i’m able to be fully present for each visit, whether that’s a long walk, playtime, or a calm check-in for more sensitive pets.

I enjoy incorporating enrichment like puzzle toys or sniff-based games when it fits the pet, and I always pay attention to their energy and mood so nothing feels overwhelming. My goal is for pets to feel safe, engaged, and genuinely cared for while you’re away.

I’ve been around animals my whole life, raising my first puppy on my family farm at 10 years old. Since then, I’ve worked professionally in a boarding facility where I supervised group play, monitored behavior, and made sure every dog stayed safe and comfortable. I also have hands-on experience in a shelter environment, working with animals of all temperaments, including shy, reactive, and high-energy. This has taught me how to read body language, build trust, and adjust care to each individual’s needs. I focus on creating calm, enriching experiences for all kinds of animals, whether that’s a structured walk, playtime, or just giving your pet the patience and attention they deserve. I have been using Izaya as my dog walker for the past year and I can honestly say that she is the best I have ever had! Not only is she reliable and punctual, but my dog absolutely loves her. I can tell that Izaya truly cares for my sweet Rosa and gives her all the love and attention she needs while I'm at work. I never have to worry about Rosa's safety or well-being when Izaya is walking her. I cannot recommend Izaya enough to anyone looking for a responsible and loving dog walker.
