Before caring for your pet, I’d love to know anything important that helps them feel safe, comfortable, and happy! This can include their feeding schedule, energy level, favorite activities, fears/anxieties, medications, allergies, behavioral quirks, potty routine, commands they know, and how they interact with other people or animals. I also appreciate knowing what comforts your pet most while you’re away — whether that’s extra playtime, quiet cuddle time, sticking closely to their routine, or anything else that helps them feel at ease. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make their experience personalized, stress-free, and enjoyable. 🐾
A typical day
A typical day with me includes lots of attention, playtime, potty breaks, walks, cuddles, and making sure your pet sticks to their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and stress-free. I love keeping pets engaged both mentally and physically depending on their personality and energy level. For active dogs, we can go on walks, play fetch, tug-of-war, chase games, or work on basic commands with positive reinforcement. For calmer or more anxious pets, I’m happy to provide a relaxed environment with snuggles, quiet companionship, enrichment toys, and gentle attention at their pace. I also love sending photo and video updates throughout the day so you can see your pet having fun, relaxing, and being cared for while you’re away. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, happy, loved, and comfortable like they’re with family. 🐾

Hi! My name is Iyah, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. While I am new to Rover, I'm not new to caring for fur-babies!! I have loved animals of all kinds since I arrived on this earth! I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, personalities, and energy levels through previous and current professional work experience at a dog and cat care/boarding business, along with caring for pets in my personal life as well. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, basic grooming care, administering medications when needed, and making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I also understand that every dog is different, so I always try to pay attention to their personality, routines, boundaries, body language and needs. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages, including anxious pets. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I always aim to provide reliable care, consistent communication, and lots of updates/photos for peace of mind. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or more shy and relaxed, I’ll make sure they receive patience, attention, love and genuine care. Your baby will be cared for and loved on as if they were my own. For me to be even more successful in what I do, I love all my clients to give me as much details about their babies as possible, I'm here to accommodate, support and make you and your pet-parent life as comfortable as possible.
