I work mostly from home and occasionally part-time outside of home, in both instances I’ll have plenty of time to play and keep your pets company! I’m usually fully available for boarding weekdays and weekends and able to adapt to your schedule in emergency/last-minute situations.

I have experience caring for dogs with special needs due to operation and other health concerns, as well as administrating medication. My complex has a beautiful courtyard garden and fenced pet area, perfect for dogs to run and play in a safe environment. De Longpre Park is a 10 min walk from the building and a fantastic place for pets, should you wish your dog to get a more extensive workout.

A typical day
A typical day will I include long walks around the neighborhood and playing at De Longpre Park, only a 10-minute walk from my building and a great place for pets. If there are any specific games or work outs your dog likes or needs to do I’ll make sure to include them in our daily routine!

I have lifetime experience taking care of family pets, including dogs of all kinds and cats, rescue and special needs. I grew up with a beautiful Labrador that was with us for 10 years and lovingly nursed as he grew up. I’ve worked as a dog and cat sitter for friends and acquaintances, I have experience administrating medication as well as other pet necessities, and love spending time with them. I also love walking as a workout for myself and with a dog it makes the perfect combo!

I was super nervous about leaving my elderly dog, Teddy, who needs medication twice a day, while I was on vacation in Colombia. Ixchel was the perfect person to care for him. She was so sweet and Teddy took to her right away. Throughout the week, she sent lots of update pictures and was in constant communication, responding quickly whenever I reached out. I felt so comfortable knowing Teddy was in such good hands. Ixchel truly went above and beyond, and I am incredibly grateful for the care she provided. She’s amazing, and I would trust her with Teddy again in a heartbeat!
