When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping them safe, comfortable, and relaxed in their familiar space. I follow their normal routines, provide plenty of love and attention, and make sure all care instructions are followed exactly. I treat every home with respect — checking that doors are locked, water bowls are full, and everything is tidy before I leave. Safety and trust are always my top priorities, and I’m happy to share updates and photos so you can feel at ease knowing your pets are well cared for.

Ixchel was excellent! I want to hire her every time I go out of town. My dogs were really comfortable with her and when I got back from my trip, my dogs were well taken care of. She took them on such long walks and made sure they got exercise. She sent lots of pictures and played with them as well.
Ixchel is a loving pet caregiver, that goes beyond her way to get to know my cats and understand their quirks. When I’m away she keeps me updated through pictures of my cats when they’re being fed or having good time. She’s always on time, very professional, and make sure that everything is tidy before i comeback.
I have known ixchel for approximately 5 years. Within those five years, I have seen her rehabilitate and raise three kittens. These kittens were malnourished when found and Ixchel went through extensive effort to make sure they were healthy and happy. When I brought my dog in, Ixchel was the first in line to offer to take care of her. During vacations, Ixchel is the first person I call when I want someone to take my pup. She has sent me updates through text and pictures, cuddles, plays, and goes on walks as if Riri was her dog. I’m eternally grateful to have someone in my life that cares this immensely about animal and caregiving.

Schedule
I currently work as a medical assistant Monday–Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., but pet care is something I truly enjoy outside of work. I love spending my free time walking dogs, checking in on pets, and helping owners feel at ease when they can’t be home. I’m available most evenings during the week for walks, drop-in visits, or overnight house sitting, depending on your pet’s needs. I’m also very flexible on weekends and can often adjust my schedule to fit your preferred times. If needed, I can also be available Friday afternoons for early weekend bookings. My goal is to provide dependable care and keep your pets happy, comfortable, and well-loved — even when your work or travel schedule gets busy.
