Safety, trust & environment
While I don’t currently have dogs at home, I understand the importance of a safe and structured environment. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions to maintain your dog’s routine and comfort. I also have experience supervising dogs in a secure, fenced yard during visits, allowing them to safely play, explore, and get exercise. I treat every dog with patience, kindness, and attention—just like they are part of the family.
Information Ivy L. would like to know about your pet
Information About Your Dog Before caring for your dog, it’s helpful to know a little about them, such as: • Daily routine and exercise needs • Energy level • Likes and dislikes • Any fears or triggers • Medical needs or medications • How they usually interact with other dogs Knowing these details helps me provide the best possible care and ensure your dog feels safe, happy, and comfortable from the very beginning.
A typical day
A typical day with the dogs I care for usually includes walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. I like to follow each dog’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and relaxed. Depending on the dog’s energy level, we may go for a nice walk, play with toys, or spend some time in the yard for fresh air and exercise. I also make sure they have time to rest and relax. I enjoy giving dogs companionship and making sure they feel safe and happy while they’re in my care. Every dog is different, so I always adapt the activities to match their personality, needs, and the owner’s instructions.

Pet care experience
Dogs have always been an important part of our family life, and caring for them truly brings me joy. Now that I’m retired, I have a flexible schedule and enjoy spending time walking, playing with, and caring for dogs. My son has two beloved Beagles, and I regularly spend time with them and help care for them. Through this experience, I have gained many years of hands-on experience in dog care. One of them joined the family as a puppy, which allowed me to watch him grow through every stage of life. The other is a rescue dog, reflecting a strong belief in providing a loving and supportive environment for animals in need. Over the years, I have also spent time training and working with them on both basic and intermediate commands such as Sit, Down, Stay, Speak, Roll Over, and Leave It. I also helped teach them to ring a bell to signal when they need to go outside.
