I live in a place with chickens, so I can only have dogs who are either small or good with chickens for doggy day care or boarding within my home specifically. Additionally, please let me know if a dog is reactive on leash, or if a dog or cat has a tendency to run off, so that I might take extra precautions.

It truly depends on the pet. Some pets like to be lazy bones and I do that right along with them. Some are up for a hike and I'm usually up for that , too. I work with animals on a very empathetic basis, so I listen and see what they want from me and what I can offer. Snuggles are of course, on the list.

I have years of experience pet and house sitting while traveling, with excellent reviews from all families I have worked with. I had a boxer dog for 12 years, unfortunately she passed last year, but I am experienced with bigger dogs and nervous breeds. I currently have two cats and know cat care and leash training for cats.

Ivory petsat for my cat from Dec 21st-Dec 26th of 2025. Ivory was highly attentive to Xena's needs and very communicative during this time, constantly sending pictures and updates about her well-being. Ivory was also very personable and professional in every communication and made me feel absolutely no worries at all. Ivory clearly loves pets of all kinds and the humans who care for them. I highly, HIGHLY recommend Ivory to as a petsitter and have been suggested Ivory's services to my friends ever since!
