🕒 Schedule 🗓️ My schedule is fairly flexible, so I’ll do my best to accommodate your pet’s routine. I also follow my baby son’s routine, so if you need help on weekdays (Mon - Fri) before 6 p.m., I’ll likely have him with me. If that’s the case, I’ll always check with you first. During these times, I can typically book appointments ONLY with *infant-friendly dogs, smaller dogs (around 20 lbs & under), or cats.* During check-ins, my son is safely strapped in his stroller and kept out of reach of pets. For walks or instances where greater mobility is needed, I usually wear him in an infant carrier (strapped to me). If you’d like to book daytime care on those weekdays but your dog isn’t comfortable around babies—or you’d rather not risk it—I may still be able to make something work for a non-recurring booking with enough notice and flexibility. **For evenings, weekends, I won’t have my son with me, so these scheduling limitations don’t apply.**

Safety, trust & environment

🚨 Safety is My Number One Priority 🚨 My commitment to your pet begins with securing their environment. I proactively aim to create and maintain a physically safe space, checking carefully to ensure there are no choking hazards, accessible poisonous materials, or other dangers. Any potential risks are addressed immediately to protect your pet. Building Trust During Visits My goal during drop-in visits or walks is to quickly establish a bond of trust and create a safe emotional space for your pet to express themselves. I understand that entering a dog's or cat's home can be sensitive, and I prioritize making cautious pets comfortable. To build trust and comfort, I always: • Practice Patience: I recognize that trust takes time and never rush a shy or nervous pet. • Establish a Safe Presence: I often start by simply "holding space" near them, allowing them to initiate contact on their terms. • Communicate Gently: I use soft, encouraging language, often talking or singing softly to explain my actions (e.g., "Time to get your leash on, good boy!"). • Equal Grounding: I frequently crouch down to their level. This minimizes my size and allows them to explore my presence in a non-intimidating way. • Positive Reinforcement: With owner permission, I use high-value treats and praise to reward calm and positive interactions. 🚑 Emergency Protocol and Necessary Disclosures In the event of an emergency, my priority is the health and safety of your animal. 1. Contact First: If your pet's health requires prompt medical attention, I will contact you immediately before reaching out to your regular veterinarian or an emergency clinic. 2. Best Judgment: If I cannot reach you, I will proceed with a course of action previously agreed upon or using my best judgment, consulting with a veterinarian for guidance if necessary. I will always take every action within my power (even involving relevant authorities, such as the health department, if necessary) to maintain your beloved pet's well-being. ⚠️ Client Safety Disclosures & Booking Cancellation: For the safety of all parties, I will never undertake any action that jeopardizes my well-being, the safety of my client's pet, or the safety of another person or animal. If, during a booking, injury occurs to myself or another animal due to your pet's actions, I must immediately cancel the current booking and any future scheduled services. You will receive a refund for the remaining unused portion of your paid booking.

Information Ivi K. would like to know about your pet

When booking, please also let me know whether your pet follows a strict, somewhat structured, or flexible routine for walks and meals. I understand some pets thrive on consistency while others adapt easily to changes. I’m happy to match whatever works best for them. It is essential that you fully disclose any history of aggressive behavior, including biting or snapping at people or other animals. If your pet has any special needs or requires extra care, please don’t hesitate to let me know. I’m always happy to discuss ways I can help and tailor my care to what works best for you and your family.

Pet care experience

Experienced & Loving Pet Care You Can Trust 🐾💛 Hi there! I’m a lifelong animal lover with 27+ years of hands-on pet care experience. Caring for animals has always been second nature to me, since I grew up surrounded by pets & farm animals. I have raised and trained many of my own. Currently, I have three amazing pups, who are the best older siblings to my son: Maia (Siberian Husky), Lana (Great Pyrenees), and Baby/Iori (Shiba Inu). They’re all Emotional Support Animals that I’ve personally trained, and they’ve taught me so much about patience, reliability, and unconditional love. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, from energetic puppies to senior dogs needing a little extra support (including those with mobility aids). I’m comfortable handling multiple dogs at once and have experience with everything from daily walks to taking care of pets with specialized needs. What I offer: • Engaging walks, fetch, and playtime to keep your dog happy & healthy • Puppy support & training reinforcement (if requested) • Gentle, attentive care for senior dogs or those with special needs • Flexible scheduling, if possible • Reliable, compassionate care that treats your pet like family Along with dogs & cats, I’m also experienced in caring for other animals—such as rabbits, chinchillas, hamsters, horses, & more. I would love to schedule a time to meet you and your pet(s)! Let’s schedule a meet-and-greet so you can feel confident that your loved one is in the best hands.

Ivi has been great with my dog, Rocky. She’s very communicative and shares a lot of updates about Rocky during their walk. I appreciate her flexibility and open communication! Rocky can be a bit of a handful (very energetic) and she’s been able to manage walking him while handling a stroller.
