Hello! My name is Ivan. I am an experienced dog walker and dog trainer based in Wakefield. I enjoy working with dogs of all breeds, sizes and personalities, from young puppies to energetic adult dogs. During walks I focus on calm and structured behaviour so dogs can feel relaxed, balanced and comfortable. Many dogs benefit from clear guidance during walks, which helps improve leash manners, focus and overall behaviour. I have experience working with dogs that pull on the leash, become overexcited outside or have difficulty focusing during walks. My goal is to make walks safe, calm and enjoyable for the dog while also encouraging better behaviour and engagement with the handler. I always treat every dog with patience, respect and attention to their individual needs. Your dog's safety and wellbeing are my priority. I also offer dog training sessions for owners who would like to improve behaviour such as leash pulling, basic obedience, recall or overexcited behaviour during walks. Great communication and lots of lovely updates
We have already booked Ivan’s for our next break, kept us up to date throughout, our babies adored him, they seemed a bit disappointed when we arrived home instead of him 😊 would absolutely recommend Ivan’s excellent thank you 🙏
We used Ivan for doggy daycare for our 8-month-old Ridgeback puppy for the first time, and the experience was excellent. Ivan kept in touch throughout the day with updates, which gave me real peace of mind and reassurance that she was in safe hands. When I picked her up, she was clearly having a great time and looked so happy and settled. I also met Ivan’s wife, who was equally lovely and really inspired confidence. It’s such a relief to find people you can trust with your pup — I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!

Experience with dogs includes: • dog walking with structured calm walks • basic obedience training • leash walking training • recall training • working with energetic and strong dogs • helping dogs improve behaviour during walks I love to stimulate your dogs physically and mentally. We will play a bunch of games, check out all the new smells in my neighbourhood, and explore a big secure park near my house
