I walk dogs from Monday to Friday, and sometimes I board a dog over the weekend. I do a nice 3.5 mile walk around the park every day at around 10am, and I can add more dogs to that walk, then I walk dogs around the neighborhood in Windsor terrace and park slope for the rest of the morning, into the afternoon.

I become the dogs best friend in this time, whenever I walk a dog or board them, I teach them to communicate their needs so that they are comfortable at all times. Feeding, walking, loving, being present in the moment. Once a human is able to communicate with all dogs it opens up a whole new world of understanding and makes caring for all dogs easier, because once they realize that you understand them they will usually immediately let you know exactly what they want.

I prefer to just know if a dog hates other dogs or people, or what type of scenario can agitate your dog, etc. Wanting to pick up food or chase squirrels is all normal. But if a dog has a history of getting agitated from a particular situation it helps to know this.

Pet care experience
I am a park slope dog walker / dog trainer. I love walking dogs and I also put effort into training every dog I walk. My specialties are communicating with dogs, teaching them to express their needs to humans, and teaching them to be less reactive towards other dogs on dog walks. I use special leashes to train dogs. I love all the dogs I walk and I am very happy and grateful to have this life. My goal is to find more dogs that I get along with that I can walk regularly and help all of my dogs to be happy and well adjusted in Brooklyn city life.
